Ch 7 is, ironically enough, about the same amount of time - it definitely doesn't last more than a week. (Wait how tf did Idia get the special weapon so fast again?)

In the final episodes of Ch 7, we hear about tests and there's an implied timeskip. I'm guessing that we've hit either midterms or spring finals. I don't think we've hit summer yet since there's one more Big Event - which is the Magishift/Spelldrive tournament between NRC and Royal Sword that happens in late May. (And that feels too plot relevant to just be skipped over.)

So. In other words, through all of the story so far, Jamil has been 18 and Kalim has been 17.
