How often do you update your fics?

honestly updating is so random for me, I kinda just do it when I feel like writing/finishing the next chapter. I don’t have a definitive schedule since I am graduating high school soon and have other things to worry abt 😭 I talk about updates and share snippets on twitter all the time tho

hello my fellow writers and really anyone who has knowledge abt dealing with anachronisms in historical fiction- i am writing my first draft of a novel centered around the life of penelope from the odyssey and i’ve come to realize avoiding modern slang and phrases is extremely difficult to do altogether. SO! i was wondering what you guys considered too far when including anachronisms in a book that takes place in ancient times? i would really appreciate any feedback you have!

I am hoping to publish it as an e-book and figure out how to get paper copies after that or something of the sort :D I’m not that knowledgeable about self publishing despite doing some research so we’ll see!

What made you decide to write the book?

I was actually reading circe by madeline miller and had the idea in the middle of my free period at school 😭😭 I always thought I’d never be able to write a novel because I never was too interested in making my own characters- so when I realized I could write a re-telling I was like woah!!! i gotta do this!!!!
