Meta Knight only huffed in response.

“My mask also doubles as protective armour. It wouldn't do to be suddenly caught in a fight unarmed.” Not to mention the myriad of other problems that came from not wearing his mask, like the uncontained bright glow emitted from his eyes. Plus, while it wasn't something he was keen to admit aloud, it was also a matter of... Comfort. He had been wearing his mask for so long that at this point it felt strange to have it off. As though he was too exposed.

Of course, he didn't actually intend on injuring Magolor over his mask. Hence why he didn't when it was stolen from him and held hostage. The wizard was, perhaps shockingly, someone he considered a friend. Any and all skewering would only occur during impromptu training sessions.

Magolor, ever unhelpful, piped up with a laugh, “Psh, a surprise fight? In Dream Land? The only one here who goes around trying to fight random people is you!” There wasn't any malice in his voice; just amusement.

At that, Meta Knight raised an eyebrow. The other wasn't wrong, at least not entirely, but... “As peaceful as Dream Land is most of the time, it is quite frequently under attack from outside threats.” Magolor himself was one of those threats, once, though Meta Knight opted not to bring that up. “You've been here long enough to know this by now.”

Meta Knight: We didn't do anything big. We all stayed in the castle and had some drinks, played some games, and spent time together.

Meta Knight: I believe Dedede gave his Waddle Dees the night off, as well.

Meta Knight: During the battle, I was able to slice off some of the fabric of Nightmare's robe, which I fashioned into my cape.

Meta Knight: I do not know how the fabric was enchanted, but it has been very useful to me.

hollow knight but anyway kirby the radiance not a comic or an ask zero two zero two kirby zero kirby we already had the ''adorable tiny god protagonists who are connected to void'' similarity with ghost and kirby but i just realized this too dgsgsgf what's extra fun is that i already headcanon hallownest to be similar in size to stuff on planet popstar as in like. ghost and kirby are roughly the same size (with ghost perhaps being slightly taller) and so they can be used as a reference for the sizes of everything around them which is small! by human standards at least. kirby's canonically 8 inches tall so the hollow knight characters are still small! ...most of em anyway. but they aren't bug sized levels of small hollow is probably still taller than many humans. the radiance is still a goddess and is still quite big and a threat similar to a human encountering zero the shade lord/void entity being close in size to void termina's titan form probably works welp. add that to my already long list of things to eventually draw dgdhshfh i don't know how well a ''zero two fight but it's ghost and hollow fighting the radiance'' would work but ''kirby fighting zero two but it looks like the radiance fight (with the background changed to fit dark star)'' DEFINITELY has potential

Honestly if anyone had decided to send in an ask for it my plan was to just have Magolor go "Well, I don't know the translated name for it, but back on Halcandra it's called *random symbols that look like the ones in the Lor*" lmao

though i do want to note that the main reason magolor doesn't believe he'd be able to eat that fruit again is because he's been exiled from Halcandra and would probably be attacked by Landia if he tried to return. though I guess that doesn't actually go against anything you've said anyway; if he wanted the fruit he has no other choice but to go to halcandra, but if he wants to keep his life he has no other choice but to avoid halcandra asgsh.

not a comic or an ask (to others reading this; this is in reference to the ''magolor's favourite food'' ask) i'm not sure if i'll keep ALL of the details you suggested since i was kind of thinking it would be something common enough for magolor to grow up eating back when he still lived in halcandra though the super specific growth conditions probably still apply at least in the sense of ''this plant requires a level of extreme heat that can't be found on most other planets besides halcandra'' and maybe some other things but i might have the exporting issue be more just because halcandra is so far away from popstar and to my knowledge/memory the lor is (one of?) the only things that can travel quickly between popstar and halcandra and well. if the lor ever shows up in halcandra again landia is going to Immediately attack it dgdgs or maybe for the spoiling thing it's more like. the fruit needs to be stored at a high temperature that is easy enough to reach in halcandra but difficult for places like popstar
