3 and a half bags of donations prepared for 3 of the community groups I frequently attend and receive so much from. Time to give back a little. Mostly art related supplies. Though I've also included some personal care products that are always in need by MHRC. #sitelines thru @centre3_ , @thelostorganization and #mentalhealthrightscoalition I will also be making a small cash donation to @harrrp since I do pottery there. Swan watching over its last egg. I went down to Bayfront Park/Pier 4 to check on the status of the 3 nesting swan pairs in that area. I knew one pair had already abandoned it's nest. I saw that a 2nd pair at the north end of Bayfront had left their nest with 1 egg remaining (out of 6 or 7 originally). This swan was the last hold out at pier 4 near the Leander boat club. It only had 1 egg remaining out of 5. That egg is also likely not going to hatch. All of the swan eggs should have hatched about 3 weeks ago. Too much rain and cold weather early probably caused the eggs to fail. Sad but it happens. T-shirt made at Sitelines Introduction to Screenprinting program tonight. Thanks to grants from the Ontario Trilluim @ontrillium Foundation, @centre3_ has been to put together various programs to help those who currently have or have had issues with mental health - often for free. I'm grateful for these #arttherapy programs. Interesting and fun. "The Universe is made of protons, neutrons, electrons and morons ". An old saying I used to use more than a decade ago. Can't remember if I created this phrase or heard it elsewhere. It has become a popular meme.
