scientifically accurate as fuck (mostly)

no silly looking aliens (of course this is a drawback if you like those)

visually gorgeous

awesomest spaceships ever (I may be a little biased tho)

based on a book series so the show writers know where the fuck they’re going with the plot (and believe me there’s some mindblowing stuff coming up)

Shohreh Aghdashloo as the Deputy Undersecretary of the United Nations Chrisjen Avasarala is a fucking delight

You can watch the first two seasons on Amazon Prime (US), CraveTV (Canada), and Netflix (rest of the world).

Season 3 is currently airing on Syfy (US) and Space (Canada).

I know some of you may have second thoughts because Syfy has a reputation of making garbage but honestly this is a really fucking excellent show and 100% worth your time.

Yup! I went to the theater with my husband and our two sons, behind me there at least 10 guys watching that screamed a resounding “WTAF” in unison and could not even.

They were PISSED!🤣🤣🤣

My husband grabbed my knee in acknowledgement, and I soft nodded because it was all too hilarious I almost wanted to grab my phone to record it. But damn.

Just like they tell us all the time about that sandwich, DEAL WITH IT.

I felt a sense of pride with Wonder Woman, but with Captain Marvel, I never knew a woman could BE, you know? I mean, YOU KNOW?

Unapologetically, herself. Not having to ask permission to be a woman, or feel, or smile and not taken in to subtext for that alone,🤦🏻‍♀️ or permission to fight to survive or have to be vulnerable or angry because everyone takes our right to choose all the d*mn time. It's liberating, and to see someone represent us like this and to see the men that are crying over it still is even better because I still see it on Twitter.🥳

I’m not saying Gal did not do it in Wonder Woman but with our rights being overturned this movie resonates the harder. WW opened the door. She gave us the key. She let us dream. The many women before her paved the way.

Captain Marvel is taking us places now!

Men only need us to sexualize our bodies until we can prove them we don't need them to rescue us, and then they're offended or angry and have to be mad or take an aim calling us names because we're not feminine enough to please them. Please!

We threaten their existence since we bled for the first time, but they needed us anyways to procreate, and if it came to them for the world’s survival, the world would be in a heap of trouble.

Give the women some credit, already!

Men should feel complimented, honored even that a woman like that can mother them children.

It goes both way, if we take their names just like we take theirs and we give them babies and we make them homes, it’s a two-way street, give us some darn respect.

To all the awesome men that stand with us, we hear you; we love you, we stand with you, we respect you, and that's why we have married you and made homes with you and the ones we have not, then, your mirror is a reflection of why that is! 🤷‍♀️🏻

Women aren't just for making you sandwiches or breakfast.

We are Scientists, Warriors, Doctors, Lawyers, Actors, Astronauts, Congresswomen; and much; much more.

We’re saving the world in as many ways than men could give us credit and not because men have not tried to stop us from it!
