Y'all senior year and Pokerogue consumed my life and I forgot about this blog lmao.
I Finally revamped the pinned post and am here to feed y'all once more ⬇️
This is just some of the art featuring my own characters that I've worked on since my last post. This isn't counting the fanart and mini artfight submissions I did for a server I'm in.
Y'all just wait while I cook up the next post...
Overview of some topics when it comes to drawing characters who are burn survivors.
DISCLAIMER. Please keep in mind that this is an introductory overview for drawing some burn scars and has a lot of generalizations in it, so not every “X is Z” statement will be true for Actual People. I'm calling this introductory because I hope to get people to actually do their own research before drawing disabled & visibly different characters rather than just making stuff up. Think of it as a starting point and take it with a grain of salt (especially if you have a very different art style from mine).
Talking about research and learning... don't make your burn survivor characters evil. Burn survivors are normal people and don't deserve to be constantly portrayed in such a way.
edit: apparently tum "queerest place on the internet" blr hates disabled people so much that this post got automatically filtered. cool!
second way more important edit: How are people seeing this post where I specifically talk about burn survivors being normal, real people, and still tag this as "TW body horror"? Not a single one of these drawings or pictures is a fresh injury. All of them are healed. How the hell would you feel if someone tagged a photo of you as "trigger warning: gore"?
the cognitive dissonance from people who want the products of modern medicine but get weird about animal research. like im sorry but this is necessary for the survival of the society we currently live in. and the scientists who work on these things are not evil cackling psychopaths. anyone you talk to in animal research has incredibly complex feelings about their work and incredibly complex relationships to the animals in their care. there are regulations and oversight and penalties in place to make the work as humane as possible and scientists are overwhelmingly the ones enforcing and advocating for better care.
I will be taking these, thank you
Exercises for all the homies who want to have a long career drawing.
The true problem with being an artist and drawing all day (as I wanted my whole life) is that human backs are not designed to hold that position, so it is very common for artists and designers to have really stiff shoulder blades, creating a chain of muscle strain towards the arm AND the back… and a lot of pain.
These are some physical exercises for artists and honestly anyone who works at a desk.

Hello and welcome to Atela's Art Dump! Here, you'll find a menagerie of things related to mine, and others, art.
I draw mostly anthro and scaly critters, but you'll also find, on occasion, other works featuring monsters or even humans! This blog's purpose is to use it to share my art and characters to the world, or just a few people. I plan on hopefully adding lore dumps for my characters at some point, so keep an eye out for that ;)
I also do commissions and am pretty much indefinitely open! If you're interested in a purchase, contact me here or on discord at Atelababbey!
Site currently under renovation
I hope you enjoy your stay at my blog!
Boosting!! I may not have the funds to purchase as of right now, but I will share!
The dictatorship that has been overtaking Venezuelan for more than 20 years now, in the name of Nicolas Maduro's regime has been comiting frauds (among innumerable crimes) and two days ago they took away the rights of people for vote putting the current regime in power again.
This, we know, was not only non-clear and lacking in information and even votes, but they also stole voting boxes previous to any official announcemente, keep political officials and civilians at bay from voting/counting votes and was a violation of peoples right for voting. They lost the elections by a large marge in all states.
The answer that came later was violence against the people that went protesting, fighting for the rightful freedom for themselves all around the country(and immigrants that had to leave it) facing death, degradations and abductions from this regime, again. All of this had included young adults, elderly people and even children.
I haven't drawn in like two weeks, have a silly sticker :]
