Just read Monsters We Make and it’s soooooo gooddddddd.
I had problems with reading it but it took a few days for the confirmation email to come and once I got it I had to make an account in order to read the digital copy (so for people who are having trouble just wait a few days and religiously check ur email) thought maybe you can read it immediately if u create an account before buying but idk.
I love all the characters but September, Jabari, Liam, and Alicent. Though, I don’t know who to ship with who. I already feel like September and Liam are together bc they almost always together but id love to see Jabari and September together bc Black love. But I think Jabari and Alicnt would have a great enemies to lovers arc AGHHHHHHHHH IDKKKKKKK
Does anyone know when they next volume comes out?
So....Tazercraft again huh? /aff
I could go on for a bit about how Pac e Mike behaved during that kidnapping, how much their reactions spoke volumes about their trauma and how fucking good these 2 are at breaking people's hearts while teasing at this situation multiple times during the stream (also having heard some of their voice acting of a lot older videos just how fucking good Pac has gotten at acting like Jesus christ my heart). But I feel like a good amount of posts in the tags have summed up everything I would've wanted to say amazingly and I definitely recommend scrolling through them.
I wanna talk about something else tho. Richas. Moreso his relationship with Pac.
Richas has said before that Pac e Mike are his chill dads, the ones that have always let him get away with shit or encouraged his shenanigans but he still has always carried different relationships with each of them individually. He's a bit more distant from Mike due to the time where Mike isolated himself away from Richas in the fear of Richas loosing his last life because of him. Richas knows Mike is dangerous, he knows Mike's a bit unhinged and I'd like to think that unhinged almost destructive chaos is what Richas got from Mike. (Taking for example yesterday when he warned Bad that Mike is the one that can kill him) Richas knows Mike is smart and even tho he doesn't have the knowledge to talk with Mike about it he still relishes in the chaos his Dad Mike's ideas bring.
Now Richas relationship with Pac is what peaked my attention yesterday though and it showed me just how much of his emotional personality he got from Pac.
Starting with the obvious it's that Richas isn't often seen sad, he's not seen as a sad egg but rather a mischievous ball of positive social energy and that's how Pac is seen by anyone aside from Mike and nowadays Fit. Everyone sees Pac as this emotional ball of sunshine who's always happy if a little anxious, but both he and Richas hold their actual emotions close. They're rocks for others before they are people who let their own emotions out. Pac having always been the emotional rock for Mike while Richas has always been one for all his parents. It's fascinating to see how genuinely similar they are with this.
Which is why yesterday when Pac told Richas what had happened I feel like was the first time we saw Richas react to the news that one of his dad's got kidnapped again. Obviously he's bound to Crack at some point, he's a kid after all. But to have Richas be this clear about his emotional body language and distress is rare in terms of kidnapping. Seeing him physically recoil, frantically and in disbelief shake his head stung so much cause it's the first time we've seen Richas react this strongly to something like this infront of one of his parents. And I feel like it's because he has that more emotional relationship with Pac.
He let's himself be this openly emotionally vulnerable with Pac because he knows how Pac is. It's like how you have that one person you're not bothered to cry infront of because you know how they are when emotional and they know how you are. They're both people who are painfully aware of how many emotional burden they carry of other's just by being themselves and I feel like a big part of Richas view of Pac comes from that too! (Him saying to Bad that Pac is the most precious Brazilian and that Bad should be careful what he does to him) Richas knows how important Pacs emotional stability is to the people around him and how I feel like he himself takes after Pac a lot in just constantly pushing through things. Because that's what's Pac always done and Richas had to learn this from someone after all.
That's why the way that stream ended hurt me so much more, Richas coping mechanism after deep emotional trauma is just wanting to sleep. Pac actively said he wanted to do nothing but sleep now and Richas KNEW what that implied, he himself knows best what that out of Pacs mouth means because I'd like to think that that's what he learnt in the early days of the favela 5. That's how he learnt to deal with emotions because Pac had always been the one to be so open with his own to Richas. It's why Richas didn't stop him. It's why Richas just helped him get to his room and sat at his side while he played a melody in hopes that he'd ease some of the emotional pain his dad currently carried. Richas still ended up being the emotional rock in this, but his behavior with Pac was so much more emotionally charged yesterday. He was so much more vulnerable himself because he is so much more similar to Pac and actually seeing it this obvious was almost painful.
Richas and Pac are used to dealing with their emotions on their own so for Richas seeing Pac break this openly infront of him was distressing because he knows how much it takes for someone, who buries distress deep down so he can carry the weight of others peoples feelings, to break this upfront. To dump all his emotional pain onto someone and I feel like Richas was for the first time openly struggling to be a emotional rock until he gathered his bearings.
And I'd like to think that he slept alongside Pac for the same reasons yesterday, hoping that the dreams would take any tears away that were so close to falling while he was awake.
Q!mike and pac deserve to kill q!foolish at least once for this this sucks for them
Agree. After they break out, if they wish to do something against Foolish they more than deserve to. At least they might break out with Walter Bob so there's at least a good side to being arrested.

WILLIAMMMMMM YESSSS GODDDDDD
I'm very normal about Pac and Bad sharing the pain of losing so many people, they keep going away. Pac might fear and distrust Bad a lot, but that doesn't get in the way of his compassion and the fact he knows Bad is grieving too
It's the same compassion that made Pac forgive Cellbit even if he panics whenever Cellbit gets angry. Pac learned to separate the person from the monster, and it's what always makes him stay close to people he knows might hurt him, because often they're also the ones that bring him comfort
When Pac calls Bad his friend, he means it. When he says Bad's a monster, he means it. He was never good at staying away from the fire, anyways
Ngl I don’t care about the furniture conflict at ALL except for whatever the hell Richas is cooking with it. That shit’s interesting af.
Kid’s been acting off all day, been weirdly ominous on why they didn’t want Bad punished at first, omitted and outright lied about the culprit’s identity, plus has apparently given Cellbit and Pac books to read off-stream. Kind of like how Cellbit did the same to him in his spy arc!
Ive also heard Richas went to sleep earlier today!!! Cmon Ricardão, you know you want to give us Romero Richas lore….
BUT i can't help but feel as though The Legendborn Cycle is going to end up with Bree & Sel.
Like we are introduced to Erebus in BM, who is set to be an important player in both Bree & Sel's life. Erebus watched Sel grow up, and in the early pages of BM is hinted that he holds a form fondness, almost fatherly toawrds Sel. With Bree, well he is the one that her ancestor made the curse to to protect her bloodline. In the beginning, Erebus tried to separate Bree/sel by placing charges on them, & the whole time he was chasing him he tried to get Bree to leave him and see him as a monster. I feel like erebus knows something that we the audience doesn't when it comes them. like why he is so scared and so determined to keep them separated?
Nick/bree i don't see happening? because their entire realtionship is coated with potential betrayal. 1st it was the whole scion of arthur thing -> nick believed himself to be the scion of arthur, but it turns out that is was bree along. 2nd, bree is starting/has started to fall for sel, who is a merlin and LB & the BM exclusive story made clear that nick has deep hatred for not only arthur but merlins as well. 3rd, i think the erebus was the one who mesmered nick's mom, and bree just made a deal w/ this guy to save a merlin's life. not to mention that all of bree/nick's encounters took place on battlefield's, while bree/sel had more domestic moments (the bathroom scene, the meadow scene, them setting the table at volition, him celebrating her bday w/ her) -> if that's not foreshadowing then i don't know what is
a lot of people are hoping for bree/nick/sel but i honeslty do not think that's happening. not only did tracy have sel reiterate twice that he holds no romantic feelings for nick, nick also has not shown any romantic interest in sel at all. but also i sense nick becoming the antagonist/villain arc. he separated himself from them when he had a chance to go w/ them. he says he has a way of taking down the order & i cant help but feel as though this erebus feeding him these ideas (cause in BM exclusive erebus (if it was him) attacked both anna & nick, so maybe he planted a mesmer chip/bond in nick's head) * & if erebus is behind all these events happening, if he did plan all of this w/ bree/nick/sel then why?
finally i feel as though this is a bree/sel story. like yes this BREE'S story, lets not forget that. but the way tracy went out of her way to give sel more depth, like in LB we the sel POV, then in BM we get mostly sel POV from chptr 51. both covers are a mixture of blue & red which are bree/sel color. also, i think bree/sel are bonded -> i think sel has some leftover root (bree describes it as her beinf wrapped around him) in him like alice when they were fighitng erebus in the woods. if sel does have some root in him then i think this will come into play in the next book when they got to rescue him.
so i think if nick's mom makes an appearance in the next book, it will end in her dying. i got an image of the trio going against erebus, he summons nick's mom, he kills her right in front of him & that sends him over the edge. then he turns against bree becuz he probably will blame her for putting them in this position. sel steps in to protect her.
idk, these are just my thoughts. again The Legendborn Cycle is BREE'S story, her journey. i just wanted to come spew my thoughts. who knows what tracy is going to do. let me know what y'all think

EMO ALERT EMO ALERT
Demon selwyn finally just spoke and he so EMO bro 😂🤣😂🤣
An Older Nico who comes back to the past after wreaking havoc in his original timeline tho.
The guy's nice. He helps them. He's powerful. He's soft for his younger self and he adores Hazel all the same.
But then they see his sword brimming with godly essences; his aura sometimes turns slightly red at the edges. He has a vial of fire - from Hephaestus' forge, Leo said - that he doused Clytius with. A pair of winged shoes enabled him to cut off Cupid's wings after Young Nico's forced to come out. When he brakes off Jason and Percy's fight, he can redirect Jason's bolts and Percy thinks the pearls that the older man uses to defend against his water are familiar. Maybe he saw it in Poseidon's palace.
They're just gifts, he said. But they don't look like it, especially when Annabeth finds a shatter of her mother's shield amongst the future Nico's possession.
It's only much, much later when they realize that those are the takings of his fight against their godly parents where - or when - the older Nico comes from.
