The ae shop is now open! There is a great poster up there for you all to grab - a first edition of 22. It's a man on a tiny planet, breathing deep to calm his stuff down. It's a version of a page from my comic "Friend Mold." 8" x 10" archival ink giclee print on 100% cotton rag. (270 gsm, 15 mil., archival for those interested) For space-likers, sighers, planeteers, and appreciaters of stargazing. Enjoy, thanks!
Another gig poster for the now Chicago-based DJ Lani Love. I like them all, but this one might be my favorite. This one is up before the event, do you live in Chicago? cuz this bar is in a bank vault...
And a close up on the face without text:
To cap off this week of music, my crowning achievement: Brighten Up Sourpuss. This is the fullest, best made PSH attempt yet and really reflects what I like and what I do. Hope you enjoy. Check out the Bandcamp page for what is now a nice little stable of most of the music I've made in my adult life. Thanks for following along!

Continuing this week of records with another Prescription Strength Hugs release! These are songs that didn't make an EP for one reason or another, usually tone problems or whackiness. You can check out the mounting collection of my tunes at the Bandcamp page!

Continuing on this Record Store Week "release all my music" bonanza comes Prescription Strength Hugs' Detuskit EP. I'd consider this part of my "Serengeti" phase - lots of drums, recorders, saws and various percussions. Check out the album art and listen to the tracks! You can get the album on my Bandcamp page, thanks!

Hello all! I make music under the moniker Prescription Strength Hugs and have been doing so for a whole lot of years. I've decided to put out a compilation collecting tracks from the first four EPs I made during 2005-2007. There is some good stuff in here, some rougher stuff but it's all the stuff that's made me who I am as a maker today. All instruments played and songs written by me. Hope you enjoy! Take a look at the newly set up Bandcamp page to download this puppy for free (but don't let that stop you from spending copious amounts of digi-cash on it). Thanks.

Bird 12: Red-winged Blackbird
An east coast staple, always mistook these at first glance for the much more elusive Oriole in my homestate of Maryland. Cornell Ornithology via Wikipedia claims this may be "the most abundant and most well studied bird in North America." Go figure.
Bird 11: Yellow-rumped Warbler
This is a fun bird that you see pretty often. The "yellow-rumped warbler" category is often used to generally classify a group of four different warbler varieties, if you needed to know that. This is one of the cute ones. I have the Birds of Brooklyn poster nearly all laid out with type and everything. Should be rolling it out real soon.
Bird 10: American Robin
Boy you guys, I'm coming down the final stretch with the Birds Of Brooklyn poster. This cute, colorful robin is the latest addition and I'm real glad he's on it. Keep posted about the poster.
Bird 9: Canada Goose
I am making a concerted effort fo finish up the Birds of Brooklyn poster by the end of next week. It will have 15 of the most commonly seen birds around Brooklyn, mostly my home-base Prospect Park. This one here is the venerable Canada Goose. I've always been into these birds as we had dozens that would summer in the pasture next to our house.
Season 3 Episode 13 in which two highschool girls experience the true power of planetary alignment! They kill baby Ryan Reynolds and are accused of Satanic conjuring by an increasingly agitated town. Some dude gets murdered by a spring... great episode.

Working on some illustrations for a site redesign - rotating banner style. Hoping these will liven up the brand and make it a bit more personable. This one is about thinking, reading spread sheets, and weighing the pros and cons before commenting. You can't see it, but that spread sheet goes to next week.
Check this guy out, his name is Daniel. This is some character design for a game I hope to make with some friends in the future for the mobile devices. For now, I'll keep dressing him up in dandy gear.
Season 3 Episode 11 in which a man with hot hands hunts those who exhibit the signs of the stigmata.

Season 3 Episode 10 in which a supposed NSA agent tries to keep Mulder and Scully from uncovering a dastardly alien-human hybrid experiment gone bad. This is the guy that was in the fantastic zombie film Pontypool, which I highly recommend for anyone liking radio-play style, mostly implied horror.

Started a new collab project with my animator pal Mike Wechsler. Animation with these two folks coming real soon. Not to spoil, but they will be your instructors in fitness.
Season 3 Episode 9 in which a presumed dead but super evil doctor type is seen on a alien autopsy video Mulder got from (the internet? in 1990-whatever?). Some creepy human-alien hybrid experiments going on performed by Dr. Shiro Zama.

Season 3 Episode 8 in which an un-extraordinary man snatches a kid. Some psychic link stuff between a previous abductee and the current, but nothing too spectacular other than that. Carl Wade.

The day at the end of 4 days, as long as you start that count on a Monday.
Season 3 Episode 7 in which a quadruple amputee uses astral projection... to kill.

Season 3 Episode 6 in which a man woos women on lonely hearts chatrooms and dates them briefly before suffocating them with goo. From his mouth. Into their mouth. If he doesn’t do this, he gets wicked messed up looking.
