Why did you choose Aphrodite as your godly parent?

Do you have any pictures of what you want the Aphrodite cabin to look like?

You said you do cheer, does camp halfblood have a cheer team in your DR?

Did you script in any extra games/activities/dances to the camp?

Honestly, I chose Aphrodite as my godly parent because the powers shown in the series are really sick, and have literally so so much potential that just dosen't get used ever.

Also, Aphrodite seems so so fun to have as a mom, yk???? Like she seems to actually really care about us (her kids) and unlike some others, likes to be present in out lives. Also, yap sessions will be UNMATCHED. truly unheard of levels of talking.

This is kinda how i picture cabin 10, a lot of hearts and like sheer or silky fabrics, flowers, crystals, candles, random ass shrines to diff pop culture stuff or celebs (lmao).

We have a shrine to Aphrodite with this, like, mirror behind it that we can use to contact her like a facetime call, and it's so so cool, def one of my fav features.

we each have our own beds with these fabric canopies around them (think harry potter dorm beds but the canopy also goes around a lil nightstand and drawers/storage under and at the foot of the bed) that are enchanted to be lightproof, soundproof, etc, and are able to lock shut (iykyk)

we have a lil community sitting area with a projector, snacks + a minifridge, a clothing swap area, and a couple of those makeup mirrors with the diff light settings etc.

I do varsity cheer for my school (Turtle Bay Academy) which is a combined middle and high school <3

Camp Half-Blood unfortunately doesn't have a cheer team :(

However, some of my friends from camp are on my team so that's really fun, and I get some close non-demigod friends too <3

I'm following a combo of the show (so far) plot and the book plot.

I'm most excited about the whole lightning thief quest honestly, especially the lotus casino (pre-realization) and stealing the taxi <3

I'm honestly the most terrified for the actual battle of manhattan part like holy shit what so ready to get traumatized tho ig.

Me and my sisters are all demigods (more context in my intro post) so we all kinda pulled up to camp in a big group when the monsters started really taking notice of us

But yeah we were literally just tryna come back from a lil mall trip with him when fucking HELLHOUNDS start coming after us

So we were literally all packed into the minivan speeding down the highway away from a pack of hellhounds and this kid has to be like so funny story y'all are actually demigods

And also your dad FUCKED apparently bc you all have different parents but dw you're still fully related technically bc gods dont have DNA

But yeah we make it to camp fight off some of the hellhounds and yeah!!!!!!

ok so first of all love you forever for sending an ask i love answering asks aughhhhh

the whole hspc thing is still so so confusing to me, but my little backstory/storyline (im so sorry im now using this as an informal backstory post) in my dr is...

-our dad gets arrested by endeavor when i'm 7 and kei is 12

-instead of being recruited by the hspc when he was like 6, hawks gets recruited when he's 14 when he stops the car crash yk the drill

-the hspc helps me with school, and i get some training/tests done as a part of our contract, but the focus is mainly on kei

-he lives with me and our mom for the first couple of years, but eventually they move him to a long-term training facility where he would live permanently

-our mom lowkey neglects me a little bit as a result and i end up running away when i'm 11

-i'm literally feral out on the streets for 14 months, obv have lost contact with everyone, but am able keep tabs on what kei's doing/if he's like dead or not using magazines and watching the news

-obv the hspc has started putting him into the public eye/officially marketing him as hawks since he's around 16 by this point

-i get blown up (lmao) (was sleeping on the roof of an apartment building at the time that was the target of a villain attack and set on fire/exploded a little bit)

-hawks gets dispatched for rescue bc he's in the area, and is like holy shit???? i know that kid what the fuuuuck

-i probs give the hspc a heart attack since my existence has kind of been swept under the rug until now, so it's fairly easy for kei to get legal guardianship of me

-yada yada when i'm 14/15 i get enrolled at UA on recommendation from hawks to keep my identity secret since UA is notoriously a really secure/safe school

-the hspc (who's eyes are shaped like dollar signs atp) see the potential of having another hero they can easily market and put me in the hero course, where i end up in 1A

-basically the same plot with some minor tweaks, the public (and 1A) learn kei's my brother bc he posted something on his hero tiktok instead of his priv (more info on that whole thing here)

-i did change the end so that kei a) dosen't lose his wings/quirk and b) dosen't become hspc president immediately, he instead is able to dismantle the hspc and bring them to justice/uncorrupt them

-he works closely with their new president on reforming the commission while still pursuing hero work (managed independently)

-later becomes a kind of ambassador for them and brings awareness to/speaks on poverty + crime + what happened to him with the hspc

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

like, i play video games (and later make music) for a living???? idk it just would probably be a tiny bit of a shock to ppl.

hiii! i saw that you shifted using the alterium method but i couldn't find anything about it anywhere lol? what's the method like? you got me curious haha :)

so the alterum method is a sleep method and its kind of a hybrid lucid dream and julia method. me personally i prepare by scripting, listening to subliminals, affirming, etc.

the (very loose) instructions/steps are:

Make your room comfortable/ best for sleeping in (temperature, darkness, cleanliness etc.)

set an alarm for 4-5 hours from when you plan on falling asleep

AFFIRM AFFIRM AFFIRMMM (etc.)

wake up w/ your alarm, stay awake for anywhere in between 1-120 min and affirm etc.

fall asleep using the julia method

this is where the path splits (hence the name), you either shifted using the julia method (congrats) or you fell into a dream/lucid dream

if you fell into the dream/lucid dream, either become lucid using reality checks or other techniques (remember: if you're in a lucid dream, reality checks will still change! i.e. the time will rapidly change on a clock, your book pages will look different, etc)

once you become lucid, start to visualize where you want to go (dr or wr). imagine a doorway that leads to that place as a direct portal.

walk into your dr/wr and do some reality checks again (nothing should change after looking away)

ghost hunter dr: fights, conspiracy theories, multimedia

obx dr: runes, privilege, falling in love

hoo dr: fatal flaw, second chances, furniture

toh dr: colonialism, family feels, phone calls & telephones

future coraline au dr: unreliable narrator, hurt/comfort, threats
