(angel told husk about this after the first time alastor put his arm around him when he was being harassed -- and husk doesn't mind because he knows full well that alastor considers angel his family, in a way that makes the mere idea of anything explicitly romantic or sexual with angel absolutely repulsive to him.)

sure, angel can handle himself -- a lot of the time. but it gets really fucking overwhelming when every other person leers at him, either because (and not just the fact that he's famous) they're judging him, are off-put by his gender presentation or something else about him (his outfits in general, how he's often high in public, how he usually has marks on him like visible bruises), or because they're "interested."

none of these are any better than the other. and then there's all the comments.

sometimes he doesn't feel like holding his head high or sarcastically dismissing them. sometimes he feels like he can't breathe. sometimes he wants to get violent, or scream, or run away, or curl up in a ball on the ground.

sometimes he just doesn't want to be alone.

For those of you wondering, the secret is to storyboard EVERYTHING.

Even if it's not a comic, have a clear picture of what you want in your mind. And really think about the shading and details. If you're drawing an action/moving scene thing, you can imagine the frame after and before what you're drawing.
