a/n - this song had me in a chokehold in eighth grade

“he’s a monster, why do i want ya?”

i didn’t technically have a first meeting with matt, as he showed up as some knocks on my window. i didn’t know what it was, so i went to check. i found nothing.

the second time i went to check, i saw a boy my age. i furrowed my eyebrows, moving the black side bangs out of my face to get a better look.

that’s when i opened my window, and he turned around to look at me.

this boy looked like frankensteins creation; stitches and patches of skin, hollowed out cheeks, literally missing an eyeball, blood dripping from his mouth (old blood, it seemed, it was brown and looked like it had rotted, if that was even possible.) he had brown hair and the one eye he had was a piercing shade of blue.

“who are you??” i asked frantically.

he didn’t talk very well, just a few grumbles and a mumbled introduction of “..matt”

i swiftly shut the window

“i’m going insane..” i muttered to myself, closing the curtain and going to bed.

the third meeting with him was all a blur.

i heard those same three knocks again. this time, i grabbed some self defense. well, a spiked bracelet from hot topic. i wrapped it around my knuckles and opened the curtains, there he was again.

i opened the window.

“what do you want from me??”

he groaned sluggishly before answering “…place.. to go..”

i sighed. being the empath that i was, along with being a naïve 18 year old girl, i let him in. i pulled him in through my window, and he landed on the floor with a thud.

“shh, oh my god, get up!” i whisper-shouted, pulling him up.

he stood up and settled his hands on my waist, making my cold and interrogating expression falter a little

“…name” he mumbled.

“my name?” i questioned, to which he returned with a nod. “y/n.”

“god, there must be something wrong with me..” i mumbled. i had to literally be stupid if i was letting a monster into my home.

“..nothing.. wrong..” he murmured.

“no, there is,” i restated.

my stomach did a backflip at his words. god, he was a monster, and here i was, letting him flirt with me and liking it.

after a while of him sneakily living in my home and flirting with me, and i finally let him make some advancements.

it started by letting him pick out my outfits

“but i like this top,” i would whine in response.

then eventually i’d let him watch me change into said outfits.

“scars..” he pointed out, making me instinctively cover my thighs

“uhh.. y-yeah..” i spoke shamefully.

i watched as he approached me from his spot perched against the wall and sunk to his knees, kissing the scars, leaving a brownish-red kiss mark from his bloody lips. it was disgusting, but i couldn’t shake off the unmistakable feeling of my panties dampening..

eventually after countless “advancements” to our relationship were made, it was an unspoken agreement that we were, in fact, dating.

dating a zombie wasn’t easy. it came with its pros and cons.

some of those cons being kissing; it wasn’t very pleasant to have someone’s rotting tongue in your mouth, so we steered clear from that.

and of course, there was sex. no one tells you how horny zombies can get, and since they’re painfully slow, the buildup and teasing is agonizing.
