Can teachers please stop marking participation on the basis of who is “brave” enough to speak up in class?
Because I absolutely engage in the topics but in order for my to vocalize my thoughts I have to go over and over it in my head, I get pains in my chest and feel incredibly anxious.
Just because my social anxiety prevents me from speaking up in class doesn’t mean my grades should suffer because of it.

Standbaclucy and I are writing a long radiostatic fanfic on Ao3, and one of the scenes in it is of Vox and Alastor going to a carnival where there is a game of skill/chance which has a shark plush as a prize. Vox ofc must have it, and they work together to cheat and obtain it for him. It is tooth-rottingly cute, and I simply had to make this day's art a little vignette from it. The carnival date isn't up yet, but here is the start of our fic : https://archiveofourown.org/works/56506639/chapters/143605288

To anyone who was suicidal at age 14 or younger, here’s your permission to grieve. Here’s your permission to not joke about it or just flat out ignore it. Here’s your permission to acknowledge that lost child who felt way more pain than any child should ever feel. You’re allowed to cry for that child, whether you healed or are still suffering the same thoughts. Finally allow yourself to grieve for that child filled with undeserved hurt.
