I like to think the treefriends with big fluffy tails like to use their tails for storage and stuff. like with Splendid, you start petting his tail and then your hand slips and goes too far in and comes out with a fucking book. and then he gets mad at you for ruining the organizational integrity of his tail-bookshelf

Or Like Nutty whereas I think he stores extra candy in his tail which makes his tail sticky and the candy has hair in it but he eats it anyway

Sooooo you said crocodiles have sensitive jaws ? I was going to ask for Killer Croc from btas, the Batman 2004, Arkham games and Beware the Batman reaction to S/O kisses him. BUT I was thinking, After the "fun time", he wake up, his face is in his S/O chest. He feel their skin, their ti er their heartbeat, their breathing.

The Batman!Croc morning after hcs:

he's always up early, practically wakes up along the sun. the sun's up, he's up. it comes naturally to him, so he will open his eyes way earlier than you will. and when he does, his first instinct is to just get up as always and go about his buisness, but then he feels your fingers at his scalp, your smell fills up his lungs to the brim and he's momentarily frozen

he doesn't want to admit how much his heart melts at the realisation of exactly where he is and what happened the night before. he doesn't want to admit how soft he is for you and how he felt warm all over when you pulled him closer the second he moved. instead, he will nuzzle you and if you start to stir, he will nip at your chest and basically start being a nuisance to make ure he wakes you up as well. the sun's up, you're up. he's insufferable, but that morning cuddle session makes up for everything. don't expect to be allowed to go back to sleep tho

Arkham!Croc morning after hcs:

he doesn't get much rest. he's always on alert, always wary, always searching for danger, but you... you made him relax. you made him let his guard down. you made him trust you. he sleeps like a rock and he's not waking up for at least 10 hours, so it's very possible you'll be up before him. and for the love of fuck, don't push him away. scratch lightly at his scalp, hugh him close, kiss his forhead - he will cling to you and nuzzle your chest like a kitten. it'll also make him stir from his slumber, but he'll be only half-conscious. he hasn't had a rest this good in ages

at first, he doesn't even realise what's going on. it'll take him a minute to comprehend that he's currently laying on your chest, your heartbeat pounding teadily right under his ear, in your bed after fucking you sensless the night before. everything is so you, he wakes up surrounded by you and as much as there is doubt in the back of his mind, as much as he wants to run away before you ultimately tell him it was a mistake, he wishes for nothing more than the ability to stop time and stay like this with you. he won't admit it, but he needs your comfort, he needs that peace you bring with you in his life

Beware the Batman!Croc morning after hcs:

he wakes up pretty early but he's always grumpy about it. hell, even if he sleeps in, he's grumpy in the mornings. absolutely not a morning person. so don't be surprised if you hear him growling threateningly under his breath as he stirs from his sleep, unconsciously nuzzling you like a pillow because he Does Not want to wake up. and then you wrap your arms around him and chuckle lightly, and he's pressed to your chest, right over your heart, that love-filled heart that welcomed him into your embrace, and the memories of last night flood his brain

he's the only one that will immediately smirk and say goodmorning to you as he all but purrs and relaxes back into you. his will start lightly caressing your body, remembering the feeling of it, the feeling of you, and he's getting horny all over again. if you want to talk about what happened the night before, he will begrudgingly agree, but if you don't - that's fine by him. he doesn't need you to tell him that it meant something (even though he really, really wishes it did), he's... happy to keep things as they are and to have you for as long as you'll have him. either way, you two aren't getting out of bed for a long while

When they discover they’re got a crush: It comes gradually. Real gradually. Like, slower than molasses on a hot summer day kinda gradual. Waylon has spent most of his life alone. So, to realize that what he’s feeling very well might be something other than acknowledgement of your presence, is...kind of scary. He’s never felt like this before, for anyone.

How they confess/hint: He’s pretty upfront with you about it. But in a very awkward way. After all, he’s never really had the chance to explore this kind of thing before, so he doesn’t really know how things are supposed to work. The most he can offer you is a very raggedy, crumpled attempt at a bouquet and a half-assed confession. Give him credit, he’s trying, at the very least. This is very new territory for him.

Big gestures of love: Making an effort to get out into the world more and stop hiding himself away like the recluse that he is. He can’t live in the sewers of Gotham forever.

Little gestures of love: Filing down his claws so he can hold you without leaving scratches. Making his home “presentable” when you come over to visit. Finding and giving you things that he thinks (and hopes) you’ll like.

How to win their heart: Treat him like a regular human being. Give him the respect he wants and deserves. Just don’t treat him any differently, like everyone else does. It’s such a small, basic request, but you’d be shocked how many people find even that to be too much.

How to break their heart: Make fun of him in pretty much any way. He knows he’s a freak, he doesn’t need to be constantly reminded of it, much less by someone he was stupid enough to trust.

Tiny little turn-ons: When you run your nails down the seams in-between his scales. Especially on his less guarded areas, like his stomach and chest.

Big turn-ons: Being bitten. I know with hide like his it seems like a meaningless gesture. But when he feels your blunt little teeth digging into his thick skin, trying to leave some sort of impression, he can’t stop himself from letting out a growl of pleasure that rumbles through his whole body.

Things that make their heart flutter: The fact that you treat him like you would anyone else. That you trust him with your safety. That you respect his boundaries and that you care about the things that make him happy.

Their type: If you asked, he’d probably say someone smaller than him, because he’s a fan of size-differences...but let’s be real. Everyone is smaller than him.

Ideal date: He doesn’t have a preference. Somewhere quiet, probably. Not a lot of people around. Somewhere peaceful. Other than that, he doesn’t care.

Past relationships: He “dated” Mary Dahl for a short time, though it was a bit more of a one-sided relationship on her end that he wasn’t fully aware he was supposed to be a part of.

How they might affect current relationships: He’s pretty wary of people in general, especially those that try to rush into things. He likes to take it slow.

‘Goals’ in a relationship (marriage, kids, a house, etc): Even if he did have any future goals, he knows none of them would ever work out for him. He’s...y’know, a giant, man-eating mutant. Not to mention a wanted criminal. A ‘Normal’ life isn’t something within his grasp.

Any other love headcanons: Though he’s got a tough time opening up emotionally, in a relationship with him, Communication is Key.
