Want to know everything that's ever happened in Project Sekai but don't have time to read all those stories? Guess what! For the low, low price of "it seems fun", I'll be summarizing every single event!

I'll be using official or trusted fan translations whenever possible. If none exist, I'll then rely on Google Translate as a last resort.

Please be patient with me as I build this blog! This is a passion project at heart, so other priorities can and will come first. However, if there's an event you'd really love a summary of, feel free to request it and I'll put it first on the priority list! Otherwise, events will be summarized chronologically. i think one of the best things about starting a new series is when you had it on your list for so long and when you finally give it a chance, it’s one of the best series you’ve ever read/watched! or when you go back to a series you’ve paused for a while to catch up on everything you missed and falling in love with the story all over again. it’s always so much fun to discover new media! it’s also amazing to finally catch up on the series you have loved for years!!!

Art Fight time!

Starting again on July 1st is my favorite online artist event: Art Fight! If you have OCs, and enjoy making and receiving art involving OCs, then I highly suggest you check out the site and set up an account!

For those who aren’t familiar with Art Fight, here’s a brief overview:

Each year, participating artists are split into two teams.

The main goal is to find any artist from the team opposite yours, and ‘attack’ them by drawing art of their ocs! Your team receives points based on what you create.

Artists that receive attacks can then ‘counter’ by drawing an OC belonging to the person who fought them, or pay it forward by simply attacking anyone on the opposing team!

Art Fight is a great chance to interact with tons of different artists, get to know the amazing OCs that others have created, and have a lot of fun making art! The art you receive is also very exciting; you never know who may attack you! Keep in mind, it’s all in good fun and any skill level is welcome!!

The event lasts a month (July 1st - August 1st), and the team with the most points by the end wins!

I dunno if I can begin to explain how much of a ship purist I am for Haikyuu. Each character has a ship. That is their one true love and I will take no notes. I will avoid any fic that includes anything other than them, and I will refuse to acknowledge their existence.

Unless I find cute art, that gets a like and the occasional praising comment.

But under almost all other circumstances, no changes made. I will not budge on this.

are all interchangeable and I will take them. However otherwise, I have a very strict little list of ships that I will read fanfic about, otherwise, out of my sight!

Tehe but no really I don’t have a problem with most ships, I just don’t enjoy them as much, especially as a sucker for childhood friends to lovers, there are some ships that tear Iwaoi, Tsukiyama, or Kuroken apart that I simply cannot look beyond. Like yes I know they’re best friends, but they’re actually so much more than that to me and I will hear nothing more.

And I’m AWARE that most of my ships are the most common but I like to believe that it’s because they make a lot of sense. Plus, this way, Everyone’s got someone they have chemistry with, when it gets mixed up some characters end up alone and I simply cannot do that to them.

(Also OsaSuna/OsaSunaKomo are both good. It’s like adding a little egg to your ramen, it doesn’t technically change the dish but it drastically changes the flavor.)

a big lesson for me was learning that most things are not as fragile as I’d believed. missing a class, or turning in a bad assignment, won’t instantly destroy your professor’s opinion of you. accidentally saying something harsh won’t make your friend want to end the friendship. it takes work to repair these things - it takes effort and research and sometimes a sincere apology - but you can do that because they’re not irreparably broken. what you’ve worked to build, in academia and in relationships and in life, is stronger and more enduring that your mind may teach you to believe. don’t let imagined fragility lead you to giving up
