they've been through so much..and they're still growing. 🤧
why is there never a genuinely happy old couple trope in media
real quick, whenever I see this look on bakugo's face I think "damn, he's thinking back about his treatment of izuku" he's pissed, hurt, destroyed that he bullied and humiliated every single day this boy he always envyed, always loved always strived to act like, then when he gets a quirk, they both attend ua, they both tassel so many trials and wins together, and he finally admits he never hated him..he looses ofa and now he sits there like "was it all for nothing??" "was there no purpose after all??" "can we still be heroes together??" lol idk I just thought of it.
Horikoshi promo sketch for Ep 143!!!
hi thank you for responding! holy shit that's crazy, didn't realize there was a different seven swordsman of the mist who fought dai, does that mean there's been different generations of the seven swordsman of the mist are a group? yeah, I think I seen mangetsu during the final war and he didn't talk, now thinking back it's fucked up suigetsu didn't even get to see him one more time, damn it kishimoto is good for creating a character that could have a great development or an interesting arc but completely wasting them. it's ashame.
so apparently suigetsu has (had ig) an older brother? mangetsu I think was his name. he was with the seven swordsman of the mist the group that killed gai's father might dai, like who was he fr? who strong was he? how were his and suigetsu relationship? i'm just a little confused
when you get jet 💔
loving all these a:tla quizzes going around lately so i made my own, which elderly a:tla side character are you? (disclaimer: iroh is not an option)
I feel like ozai doesn’t get enough credit as a character because a) people see him as an individual actor as opposed to the product of a system designed to produce someone exactly like himself and ensure that they have utmost power within said system and b) his children are, by design, given more narrative space and depth than he is, making them much more compelling and sympathetic characters. but just because his limited screentime and lack of nuance makes him static and unsympathetic doesn’t make him a bad character. his narrative role is to represent the ideology of the fire nation, and he executes that role perfectly.
