Half life oc… his names Benji (after the dog from the dog movies) …based primarily off of the gas mask civilian model from the half life 2 beta.. I thought the design was so cool I’ve been thinking about it forever lol …

These are like the first doodles lol so he’s subject to change some (also I need to figure out the gas mask proportions they look different in each drawing omg) 4th image is just quick ideas about him that I’m too tired to retype here (I’ll type it up tmrw if I remember)

sometimes I wonder why y'all are obsessed with specific characters and I'm like "why them" but then I remember that sometimes its literally not your choice you just look at them wrong and all of a sudden they're taking up your every thought forever

bad science

wanted to make a full piece for the 5 year hla anniversary but after not really drawing for half a year i think a full piece was a little too ambitious lol. ditched the actual background that wasn't working out and simplified the shading style/lineart i already had and i think it turned out alright considering

guess who started thinking abt half life again,,,,

This brush is kinda fun to use … also really have been loving drawing on a gradient background so much cooler than just a plain basic color

i think we've done a great job expanding the view of what a child's favorite animal can be. kids these days can say they love axolotls or pangolins or coelecanths and their decision is respected. maybe their parents can even find them a stuffed animal of it if they know where to look. and i think that's beautiful

u ever have like. a character from a media you really like and end up making one that's very similiar. yeahidk if its a character or more of like a character concept. But made a xen memory worm that went rouge, killed the staff at a combine facility and absorbed the barin chemestry of everyone there, allowing it to talk human language and in several of them.It controls the whole facility, it let xen growth over run it, also because it helps it keeping control better. From outisde it looks like a combine interference computer covered in growth, and the worm rarely if ever shows itself. Idk yet whatever to make it a villain (wants to absorb as many people as possible) or if its just after the combine, which it rightfully hates for using its species as living batteries, tho i like the second option better.

Something about Combine Suppressors just screams cowboy to me.

This was technically supposed to be a study for me to figure out how to draw these guys but now I'm just really attached to the cowboy suppressor and their scary horse. These are basically my OCs now.
