Right now, my idea for the story would be about Zayd's tedious repetitive life being interrupted by a chance meeting with a small group of queer people that enjoy his company and want to hang out with him, though he can't understand why.

He'll try doing what he thinks will keep them interested in being friends with him, not realizing he's sabotaging himself. Along the way he'll be learning to deal with his depression and untangling his internalized homophobia and self hatred.

I'm super early in the planning process but I like how things are going so far! I've been wanting to write a character dealing with depression for a while.

I’ve been getting into Sonic thanks to the new movie and felt like doing my own take on Shadow and Rouge’s designs. I think they turned out very fun!

For Shadow I thought it’d make sense that he’d wear clothes thanks to be raised by humans, so his first outfit (which he’s now emotionally attached to) is the one he stole while escaping Prison Island. It’s very big on him and features the Project: Shadow logo covered by the G.U.N. symbol. Oh also all his quills face up because I wanted them to and I gave him a more obvious fire motif.

For Rouge it’s a lot more accurate to her canon look but I made her albino and gave her more heart symbols. I thought it’d be ironic and a testament to her skill as a spy and thief seeing as albino animals in nature tend to have a much harder time hiding. It’s also a fun connection between her and Shadow, as Shadow is red and black while she is pink and white. Similar but opposite you know? Also I made her tall; Shadow is still short though don’t worry.

i’m gonna get top surgery and then fake boobs. i want these bitches detachable. like velcro
