in both the ninjago movie and the series, lloyd likes to deliver a dramatic line and then go yEET— series:

If you’re an adult, do the stuff you couldn’t as a kid.
Like, me and my sister went to a museum, and they had an extra exhibit of butterflies. But it cost £3. So we sighed, walked past, then stopped. We each had £3. We could see the butterflies. And we did it was great. We followed it up with an ice-cream as well because Mum and Dad weren’t there to say no.
I was driving back from a work trip with 2 other people in their early 20s, and we drove past a MacDonalds. One of the others went “Aww man, I’d love a McFlurry.” And the guy driving pulled in to the drive through. It was wild. But it was great.
I went to a park over the weekend and I was thinking “Man, I’d love to hire one of those bikes and cycle round the park.” It took me a few minutes to go “Wait, I can hire one of those bikes!”
I guess what I’m saying is, those impulsive things you wanted to do as a kid - see the dinosaur exhibit, play in the fountains with the other kids, lie in the shade for 2 hours - you can do when you’re an adult. You have to deal with a whole lot of other bull, but at least you can indulge your inner 8 year-old.
Luh-Loyd doodles bc why not
Plus Nya bc their friendship dynamic is so good and I love it so much
Also the neon hoodie is bc I just wanted to and also bc uh- I have a hc that he gained a lot confidence in himself once he wasn't hated by everyone, and to reflect that he began to wear neon green. Also then he can use his old hoodie as a comfort thing to hide from people in bc they go nuts whenever he's around. They learn to recognise neon green so ignore the darker green.
And then suddenly-
If the business is allowed to have personal financial gain as the main goal, then so are the employees.
If the business was a worker coop, then helping each other make a profit instead of focusing on your own pay would be the goal. But if the business is not required to care about the well being of the employees, then the employees should not be required to care about the well being of the business.
If the business can replace an employee and leave them for dead when the employee stops being profitable, then an employee can quit a job and leave the business for dead when they get a better offer.
Not to be accused of "medically gatekeeping gluten free" again, but I had to unsub from r/glutenfree after just two weeks after seeing a whole bunch of "I don't have celiac but..." circlejerking and the final straw was a post asking "so what's your cheat food?"
YOU'RE THE REASON I NEARLY BOUGHT "CELIAC CERTIFIED" RAMEN THAT WAS MADE OUT OF BARLEY! EITHER TAKE GLUTEN FREE SERIOUSLY OR STOP CALLING YOUR DIET THAT YOU TONE-DEAF ASSHOLES
I was sad, so I drew this 💯🔥💥

One of my favourite things about Lloyd Garmadon is that the name 'Lloyd' comes from the Welsh name/word 'Llwyd,' meaning grey- which perfectly coincides with Lloyd being a sort of grey area between oni and dragon*
Another thing that makes me laugh is that in TLNM both Lloyd and Lord Garmadon are technically wrong about the pronunciation of the 'LL' in Lloyd's name. 'LL' is a single letter in Welsh, and is pronounced as sort of an aerated 'L' sound (idk how to describe it)
Of course that sound doesn't exist in English, and Lloyd /is/ the anglicised version of Llwyd, but I'd absolutely love to tell Lloyd he's pronouncing his name wrong. It would be the first thing I'd say to him after I got over the shock of actually meeting him.
