i feel like nobody has NOTPs anymore. like if you hate a ship now it has to be for some deep moral reason and you have to justify it to everyone what happened to just not liking stuff that isnt inherently bad but just because you personally think it sucks

Now let’s speculate about this one’s insecurities

there’s a misconception that grief only happens when we lose people. this is not true. we can grieve circumstances, relationships, missed opportunities. in fact, sometimes when you find yourself plagued with waves of emotion from sadness to melancholy you may be grieving yourself. the version of yourself that you might have been if things had been different, or if only you had said something, or if someone had stood up for you.

Some Collector and Amity siblings stuff :)

I like to imagine them going to her with their nightmares, asking her to read them stories, only to fall asleep on her shoulder

I also like to imagine them getting jealous of Luz like King got jealous of Amity 'what!? no collector hug?? I demand to be held' and then they get hugged from three directions by Amity, Luz, and King

'Looks like we're going to be siblings in law, king!' And they get to be flower star person with King (at Luz and Amity's not white wedding but they agreed it was so cute when they both insisted that they just let them)

The Collector just stayed in their usual clothes, and King wore his armour of intimidation and they spent the whole day randomly showering people with little stars with focus on lumity

Also Amity letting them bash their old siblings, and being there for them when they're sad about what they lost and who lied to them.

'I just- wish you'd been my sibling the whole time.'

'Me too. Those archivist people SUCK.'

'YEAH! They didn't even try to find me when I got trapped. They just decided it was good riddance and were disappointed when I came back last week...'

'Excuse me, WHAT. Collector, please stay away from them- if they're going to lure you into a place where you could be in such danger on purpose, then completely ignore you when you get trapped instead of taking your tablet to titans blood to free you or at least bringing you to the stars to keep you company, I dread to imagine what else they'd do to you. And also being there for them when they're feeling guilty over their pre-Luz actions, and she can just be like 'same little dude, same' and recount stories of the things she'd done under her parents' control

For 2025 I want to give you all the best advice I took to heart last year which is simply “do it for the plot” bc doing anything good or bad is better than doing nothing at all and at the end of the day you’ll have a fun little story to tell and it will either be “omg do you want to hear about this crazy thing that happened that was awful” or “omg I gotta tell you about this awesome thing that happened” but like either way it’s good for the plot! Even if it’s scary or you don’t know if it will work out or not, at least it gives you things to look back on at the end of the year! You’ll learn more about yourself! Go forth and by any and all means possible: do it for the plot besties :)

Keep calling it Denali. The original name before it was Mount McKinley. Don’t let the Indigenous Peoples/First Nations be erased.
