When people talk about dark academia movies they always mention Kill Your Darlings or The Dead Poets Society - i. e. films about men asserting themselves through art and homoerotic subtext between friends.
But I never hear about Mona Lisa Smile. It is a movie that just exudes da vibes + it has complex female characters in an academic setting + and it discusses the inherent mysoginy of the time.
Really, it is a wonderful movie and you're all sleeping on it
The most Ravenclaw thing I have ever done is spending the whole night studing a subject that my friend casually brought up in the conversation because I wanted to prove that the point he had made was wrong. And when I finished digging and was confirmed that I was right, I was too tired to actually prove it to my friend and just forgot about the whole thing.
White people saying "Don't you dare call me a racist" is so ridiculous.
If you're called out, there's little chance you are innocent. Ask what you did wrong. That's how you grow. Don't get all defensive and don't go hiding in your shell. People of color know better than you if you're being racist, simply because they're the ones who experience it.
Btw I'm white, that's just me getting annoyed at such people
people who discover gay soap operas never go back to western media
my silly little gay shows satisfy my need for queer stories with low stakes zero deaths and a lot of fucking
gmmtv the sponsor of my daily fix of gayness
the fact that RWRB came out the same week on only friends is so fuckin funny to me because people who only watch western media are really so desperate for queer content that ive seen people waxing poetic about so many (non) things meanwhile i'm out here SCREAMING at the top of my lungs because Mark Pakin violated privacy laws to put a sexy selfie onto a customer's phone and WON
Can somebody ban J. K. Rowling from tweeting? It's pride month for Christ's sake, can she simply not?
I wheezed
Campbell: *gets down on one knee*
Elle: Oh my god, it’s finally happening.
Campbell: *falls over*
Elle: The poison is kicking in.
"Show them to me" was hotter than any sex scene you can't change my mind
love for love's sake rewired my brain and gave me that little push, that little glimpse of hope when i really needed it to keep going and for that i will forever be grateful
