Something Something Vinny Developing Insecurity About Being Just A "formative Experience" For Garmadon

Ugh. So. Vinny and Garmadon go to a local sentō. It's already winter, but it's never been really cold in NNC. Garmadon couldn't recall being to a communal bathhouse, at least not to a modern one. Vinny only mentions somethings about water bills and childhood memories.

It's Tuesday, so it's quiet around, and the few people present - a father and a son - leave at the sight of new visitors. City-pop, outdated ten years ago, plays from the old speakers. Vinny speaks much more than usual. Garmadon listens, nods his head and keeps silent, absorbing the new atmosphere like a sponge. He plunges into the water almost with his head, letting the warm fluid fill the hole in his chest.

When they go out, it's already dark outside, a chilly wind blows over their hot faces. Unfortunately, they won't be able to spend the Festival day and celebrate the New Year together: this year Vinny will have to film the parades, so every day of his vacation now is already a kind of holiday.

A decision is made to take a soda from the vending machine. Of course that freaking can jams and of course Vinny gets his hand stuck while trying to get it out like a bald 37 y.o. wet loser he is. Luckily for the machine, he knows a couple of tricks so for now the poor thing is safe.

Minutes feel like hours (in the best possible way), but when they get home and go to bed, the whole evening feels like a minor part of a big shared dream.

My hc is that Lou would be absolutely fine with Cole and Geo's relationship, but sometimes he would make remarks like "does your husband NEED to be a hippie????" or something like that

Okay I don't think the Ninja will be very succesful with getting Jay back properly if they keep doing this shit, I think someone should be teaching them how to accept a person as they are while helping them, someone who knows how to treat someone corrupted without constantly reminding them of it. And someone who can relate to Jay should bond with him. Y'know, someone who was also corrupted, who also had some level of memory loss, or atleast was heavily disconnected from his memories, someone who was manipulated, someone who understands how it feels to have the constant urge to do evil, one who had to learn compassion.

Cole needs to be more important, and Geo needs to have things to do aside from have cute moments with him in the background and take care of the kids when Cole's not home. i swear if Geo was a woman people would be pissed about how underdeveloped he is

He's a hybrid of two tribes who hated each other! he's like the modern day FSM! this could be.. something, thematically!

but I think Sora should be Nya's student. I think they've got a lot of compelling similarities that would create a very interesting dynamic. I REALLY enjoyed what interaction between Nya and Sora we have gotten. And I think it would make sense for all of the RGB sibs to have their students (Lloyd with Arin, Kai with Wyldfyre, and Nya with Sora) considering how it seems like those 3 have gotten the most DR screen time of the original team.

I think Nya could provide a lot of valuable lessons to Sora. I think they have interesting parallels and similarities that could be very compelling.

No hate to Lloyd (in case it's not obvious) and I do enjoy the Lloyd & Sora duo, but I still think Nya being Sora's primary teacher would have made more sense.
