Shigaraki x reader fluff

At first Shigaraki acted indifferent towards you. You were hired to be a part of the league of villains because they needed every person they could get to be able to take down the heroes. When you first got there everyone loved you, everyone except for Tomura. It was as if you didn’t exist to him, he never made eye contact with you, never spoke to you, he wouldnt even stand close to you when the two of you were in the same room.

The night was your only time of peace, once everyone had gone to bed you got to escape to the common room to play your favourite game. It was very peaceful, getting your moment of privacy to slip into the comfort of your games.

One night when most of the team had gone out on an overnight mission, you thought it was safe to go out earlier than usual since shigaraki never left his room. It was only the two of you at the house. You sat on the couch pulling up the blanket making yourself comfortable. You decided on your favourite PVP game, zooming through the levels as you felt yourself escaping from reality.

You see a light in the hallway appear as a door slowly swings open, Shigaraki slowly walking out. You thought he would ignore you like he always does, but this time he stops to watch you play.

After that night, things began to change. When you went downstairs to play your game, shigaraki was already sitting on the opposite side of the couch, almost as if he was waiting for you. He was already playing, he just stuck his hand out holding a controller, offering for you to play with him, as if it were just a normal thing. This became a new routine.

At first things were a little awkward, the two of you didn’t talk very much, just laughing every so often when one of you would die or annoyed groans of frustration. He would never admit it but he liked the sound of your luahgter- dying on purpose just to hear you giggling.

Slowly as time went on, things got less awkward. They two of you slowly started to talk more, he would ask you questions about yourself. He would ask you about other games you liked, what your favourtie candies were, tiny things like that. He once asked you how you got so good at the game that he loved. “Oh so you actually like something?” you joked with him. He rolled his eyes, but you caught the slight curve of the corner of his mouth.

You started to notice that Shigaraki would pay more attention to you outside of your daily video game time. Whether it be him staring at you during team meetings or him always somehow ending up in the same room as you, he just always seemed to be around. You caught him staring at your hands while the two of you would play games and when he thought you were distracted he would stare at your smile.

As more and more time went on you started to feel as this was how it was supposed to be, just the two of you together laughing and having a good time.

Then the night of the storm came. The thunder and lightning crackled outside as rain pounded down on the window. You were curled up next to him, a blanket shared between you like always, when the screen suddenly flickers and then goes out. Fuck, the power had gone out. The both of you sat quietly for a second wondering what to do. “Well I guess this means I win” you joked but he stayed silent. You turn to look at him expecting him to be staring at the black screen but instead he is already staring at you.

“Don’t leave yet, let's see if the power will go back on soon.” He said to you, his voice was barely above a whisper. Scratchy, almost reluctant, like the words scraped their way out of his throat. Of course you wanted to stay, you wanted to stay with him forever. “I won't go anywhere dont worry.” you say to him, his gaze dropping as he tries to cover the fact that he's blushing with the hood of his sweater. You drop the control and curl back up on the couch, the space between the two of you feeling as if it had gotten smaller.

With your hands now free, your fingers were brushing up against his everys so often. He notices- of course he notices. You wonder if he is going to pull away, like he usually would, but this time he doesnt. Instead he puts his hand closer, his pinkey slowly touching yours, his moves are cautious, like he doesnt know if doing this will destroy the whole world. He leaves his pinky there as your body holds still. You glance over at him, a soft smile begins to spread across your face as you notice he's staring at you, blushing.

“Is this okay?” He says, his voice a little shakey, but very gentle. You didnt answer him with any words, you instead shifted your hand so it was directly underneath his. His gaze not leaving your hands once, almost as if he doesnt believe that this is really happening. It's like he doesnt believe that something this comforting, this safe, does exist. Shigaraki was letting you grab his hand, your fingers intertwining slowly. For once in Shigaraki's life, he believes that not everything he touches has to fall apart.

˖ . ݁𝜗𝜚. ݁₊ when you had first befriended rin all those months ago, you honestly hadn’t expected your friendship to flourish like this.

rin was quiet, snappy, and quite frankly, tended to be very rude. but for some reason, that never shook you off of him. why? he couldn’t fathom a reason. not even you could come up with a reason. just that you liked his mystery, his company, his presence, all of it.

maybe you liked it too much.

under the spring sunlight, you and rin walked back to your home as you yapped away. another thing you liked about rin was that he was a good listener. you could talk about any of your interests and he would be there beside you, nodding along, occasionally asking questions — and the best part? he remembered. he remembered things even you had forgotten.

“i don’t understand why he doesn’t just confess already.” you huffed, complaining about the male lead in your romance novel. “he has to understand he’s an attractive guy. i don’t think any girl would reject him!”

rin looked at you curiously. “what do you mean?”

“i mean that everybody likes pretty boys. even if they’re the worst person on the planet. rin, come on, back me up here. you can testify!”

“i still don’t understand.” rin replied.

you rolled your eyes. was he being serious? absolutely no way. “girls confess to you all the time.”

he looked at you completely cluelessly.

then it hit you.

oh my god.

rin was genuinely clueless.

he was utterly unaware of his own beauty.

how? he was one of your closest friends now, and one of the first things you had noticed about him was that he was rather beautiful. pretty teal eyes fringed by long dark lashes, a face sculpted by angels, dark hair that fell over his face perfectly, and come on. he was an athlete. anybody with eyes could see the carefully built muscle against the fabric of his clothes. rin was a pretty boy. it was no secret.

however, it seemed that everybody knew the secret but him.

he tilted his head just slightly to the side, sunlight streaming through the trees and pronouncing the deep green undertones of his hair. “so?”

you stopped walking, completely the dumbfounded. then the words tumbled out of your mouth before you could stop them. “you’re pretty.”

oh, now you’ve done it. who the hell calls their male friends pretty?

rin raised an eyebrow. “i’m pretty?”

“no!” you exclaimed, your heart racing in your chest as he looked down at you, and oh god — you were blushing. then his eyes widened in surprise at your quick reaction, your heart beating so fast it could have collapsed inside your chest. “i mean i’m not saying you’re not, ‘cause you are. pretty, i mean. but i’m just saying-”

your rambling was definitely making this worse. you looked down at the ground, your cheeks flushing pink and your blood racing through your veins. then you heard something soft. the smallest sound.

laughter.

you raised your eyes to find his face, and your breath catches. he laughed louder, and your heart fluttered in your chest as you watched him with wide eyes. you didn’t think he could get prettier.

but here he was. the soft golden sunlight hitting his face and illuminating every breathtaking feature. his smile could have stopped wars, his laughter could have been mistaken for an angel’s. you had never seen him look prettier. it was almost too much for your poor heart to handle. he was smiling — laughing because of you.

you felt light. too light. as you watched him, lips parted in awe, you felt your heart fall. falling endlessly, effortlessly, as you looked at rin.

he giggled, and your stomach flipped, his smile radiant as he looked down at you. “so you think i’m pretty?”

you couldn’t even speak. you just nodded.

he laughed again, nodding to himself. “good. i think you’re pretty too.”

you might faint.

rin’s laughter was pure as his hands went to your face as you mumbled about feeling lightheaded ; his proximity, touch and laughter worsening it. rin could only giggle as he teasingly asked you if you were okay, delighted by your shy and soft responses.

oh, you’re so screwed. you’ve definitely fallen for itoshi rin.

Leon comes home late, worn down and quiet. You’re half-asleep in your favourite PJs, waiting for him like always. He holds you like you’re the only thing keeping him grounded. And maybe you are.

˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆ You’re already half-asleep, curled up in the softest blanket, wearing that cute pyjama set he always teases you about—the one that makes his eyes linger just a second longer. The apartment is quiet, peaceful, when the front door creaks open, soft enough to blend into the silence of the late night. 1:47 AM. The clock glows faintly. Leon’s home.

You roll over blinking drowsily as you hear the faint sound of his boots being kicked off and the rustling of his jacket coming off. You didn’t mean to wait up, not really. You’d just wanted to see him- wanted to feel him beside you. The bedroom door opens with a soft click, and he stands there in the dim light—exhausted, his hair messy, but still managing a small smile when he sees you curled up in your favourite PJs, waiting for him.

“Hey, sweetheart,” he murmurs, voice low and rough from the day. “Didn’t mean to wake you.” You smile into your pillow, barely opening your eyes. “You didn’t. I was waiting.” Leon sighs, almost in relief, and starts unbuttoning his shirt. “Thought you’d be asleep by now.” “I was trying to wait,” you murmur, still soft with sleep. “Wanted to say hi.”

He lets out a breath of a laugh and drops his shirt to the floor before climbing into bed behind you. The bed dips beneath his weight, and then suddenly you’re surrounded—arms sliding around your waist, his chest pressing against your back, his face nuzzling into the side of your neck.

His voice is muffled there when he whispers, “Hi.” You giggle, reaching to rest your hand on his forearm where it’s wrapped around you. “Rough day?” He hums, and you can feel it against your skin. “It was long and boring, I missed you.”

His words are warm against your neck, and when he kisses you there—just a soft press of lips to skin—you shiver. It’s instinctual, your body already relaxing into him like muscle memory. Like he’s home. Like he’s always home.

Leon shifts just enough to pull you closer, if that’s even possible, his fingers slipping beneath the hem of your pajama top to settle on your bare stomach. He’s warm, all heat and muscle and exhaustion, and he holds you like he’s afraid you’ll slip away in your sleep.“I hate coming home late,” he murmurs. “I hate not getting to spend the nights with you.” You turn your head slightly, enough to look back at him with sleep-heavy eyes. “You’re here now.”

“Yeah.” Another kiss, this one slower. “I am.” Your eyes flutter shut as he brushes his knuckles across your stomach, his other hand tracing lazy circles into your hip. His lips press another kiss to the back of your shoulder. Then your neck. Then just behind your ear.

“ Are you gonna fall asleep on me?” he whispers. “Maybe,” you breathe. “Unless you keep doing that.” He chuckled, “I missed you,” he hums. Leon wraps his arm around you tighter, pulling you even closer until there’s no space left between your bodies. His voice is soft when he speaks again—low, like a secret whispered into the night. “Love you.”

You smile. Sleepy. Safe. Loved. “Love you more.”
