Beetlebabes Discourse

You know there’s been something on my mind for a while recently and I think it’s about time I actually put it on Tumblr. In my opinion I believe that if Lydia was a boy or if Beetlejuice was a woman or Beej was conventionally attractive at all I don’t think that people would have that much of a problem with the ship. Because seriously I’m pretty sure that if it was gay in any sense then people would not care at all then again there are some people who don’t like Sebastian and Ciel together which I can understand with that, but still I’m pretty sure it probably won’t get as nearly as much hate as it does now. Same thing goes for if Beetlejuice was conventionally attractive. Like don’t get me wrong Michael Keaton and Alex Brightman are very very handsome men and I know that more people gravitate more towards the musical version of Beetlejuice because they think Alex is very very attractive but you also have to take in the fact that they have to put on a lot of make up Michael especially had to do a lot because he had the rotting teeth and his skin was white and had moss everywhere on him, which makes sense since he is supposed to be a rotting corpse but still I really think that if I didn’t have that much make up on either of them then people probably wouldn’t have that much of a problem with it. Take Twilight for example now I love twilight but I do you know that people have their problems with it because they say that Edward is very creepy because he admitted to watching Bella in her sleep and stalking her. But that doesn’t change that they still end up together and also that Edward is over 100 years old and Bella is 17 at the start of the series. Another good example is Buffy the Vampire Slayer, now I will admit I haven’t seen all of Buffy and it has been a while since I’ve seen it but I do remember that Angel is I believe several thousand years older than Buffy, who is 16 at the start of the series. They then break up and then over time she ends up with Spike a vampire who has a literally try to kill her on more than one occasion prior to them dating. My last example is the anime Inuyasha yes he is physically around the same age as Kagome who’s 15 but, you have to remember that he is 500 years older than her and there’s also the people who ship her with his older brother Seeshomaru, who is 700 years older than her, and he’s about physically maybe 19-20 years old. The same thing also goes with his love interest Rin but that’s a whole other can of worms that I’m not going to get into today. The point is that all of these guy are physically attractive and as I said above I do believe that if Beetlejuice was physically attractive and we probably won’t have a lot of people hating on the ship, same goes for if it was gay that’s my two-cents on the matter.
