I am Faten from Gaza, a mother of four (two boys and two girls), displaced from north to south Gaza due to the war. We suffer a lot and struggle every moment to survive. There is no way for us but to flee from place to place in search of safety that no longer exists anywhere in Gaza... Fear, panic, and tears are with us... Hardly a day goes by without hearing the sounds of bombing or artillery shells... My children are in a constant state of fear, especially Mahmoud, who is 13 years old, and who went through the most difficult days since he was young. He suffers from diabetes which requires permanent treatment (insulin injections) to maintain the blood sugar level. He is exposed to fainting spells when the sugar decreases. We cannot provide him with the good food he needs due to the lack of good food, including fruits and vegetables.

As for me, 5 years ago I was struck by colon cancer. They removed part of the intestine. After that, I suffered a lot and went through the worst days of my life when they started giving me chemotherapy doses. My body became weak and exhausted, and the effects of that still haunt me to this day.

I can't find comfort because of this war. I have to cook on firewood and wash clothes on my hands, against my will.

As for Muhammad (my eldest son), he was supposed to take his high school exams this year, but he did not expect the war to come and destroy his dreams and ambitions. He had always dreamed of the day high school would end, so he would go to university and study what he had always dreamed of (a doctor) But the war destroyed everything.

As for my daughters (Mayar 9, Siwar 6), they want to return to school. They are still in primary school. They always cry because they cannot play like before and they no longer see their friends. Their lives have become empty, with nothing in it but the fear of this war

Long, all day long, surrounded by devastation, bloody missiles and shattering shrapnel. We endured constant fear day and night for a whole year without any peace or comfort. I do not know where to take my children. Our lives are very painful and difficult, and every time we miraculously escape death, I want to help everyone who can help us, those with compassionate hearts. We live in the heat of tents and under the blazing sun. My house was completely demolished after years of effort and fatigue and building our house. Then, one night and one day, everything disappeared and my children’s room was completely burned and demolished. Even our car was not spared from the bombing, as we had all the wonderful means and tools. For the sake of a decent life, we started roasting our food over the fire despite the fatigue and heat. We are still standing despite the bombing, hunger, and severe shortages. We need your help. I’m asking funds to evacuate (5) members of my family from Gaza to a safe place in Egypt, including my younger brother (Mohammed, his wife, and his 1 and half year son Yasser), and me and my fiancée Sujood). It could be very expensive and costly to evacuate a war zone at a miserable time like this. We will need approximately $50000 and a lot of prayers.

Our home was targeted in a tank bombing on the 25th of November 2023 that left it unlivable, along with the entire neighborhood of Al-Burij refugee camp, in Gaza City.

When we returned back to our home to get some needed itemsand clothes, we found that Israeli soldiers also steal our belongings. Since that day, my family has been sleeping in a miserable tent in Rafah, in the south of Gaza, which has become a home for all people from the Gaza strip, whose homes were also destroyed by airstrikes, but they have survived thus far.

I can't express how useless and depressed we felt after finding out what they'd been through and are currently going through. Each moment, we worry about losing them. Without connection settings, we cannot constantly contact them. During the moment of typing, over 25,0000 individuals have been killed in Gaza. They are without electrical power or heating for a period of three months, food is limited, and their drinking water is unsafe for human consumption. My family's only hope is to evacuate to to a safer place out of Gaza. My family went through the loss of several friends, and many of them have lost their spouses and children. I am afraid of losing my family. They are the light that leads me through my life. I cannot live or survive without them.

The expenses of travel for 5 people are as follows

• $50000 for the boarding pass (Egyptian coordination) to pass Rafah border, 10000$ for each person.
