I just want to say that this blog will not rest until the people (especially the woman) in Iran are heard. And I will keep posting and informing what’s going on in Iran. Cause this is not just some “trend” this is something real , and something I care about. I will not stop posting about Iranians and the atrocities against the people. Until they all have a voice.
This is the exact section of South River Forest property that's becoming the "cop city" training facility for the City of Atlanta.
I'm no expert on what constitutes a forest. But from Google Earth, this sure resembles one.
And yet the City of Atlanta put out some "facts" about the police training center being built here, and they're trying to convince us this is no big loss because it's not really a forest:
Weird. They know we have access to the internet, right?
Whatever this greenery is (and I still say it's a forest) it's going away for the training center. We're losing a huge stretch of trees -- which was supposed to all be a public green space, per the Atlanta City Design -- while massive highways stay the same & even get bigger. It's screwed up.
Remember this:
Nobody regrets the forests we saved. Just the ones we lost.

While Americans are distracted watching the Super Bowl, Israel has chosen to begin bombing over a million Palestinians.
It’s timed too conveniently to be a coincidence.
There’s nothing we can do to stop this but please don’t be silent. Even if you’re watching the game, please use your voice to condemn genocide in this moment and afterwards.
HAPPY SHORT N’ SWEET DAY TO ALL WHO CELEBRATE 💋💋💋
Since the Islamic republic's propaganda is getting stronger:
No they didn't disband the morality police
Yes the mandatory hijab law is still going on
Iranians want a regime change not just reform
they are executing prisoners
The protests are still going on even more intense than before.
Citizens are not armed Iranians don't have easy access to weapons or firearms
If you, for some reason, still have a subscription to the Atlantic, cancel it

The federal government is moving to support Iranian nationals in Canada, amid a bloody crackdown on dissidents in their home country.
The government announced in North Vancouver Thursday that effective March 1, new measures would be in place to allow Iranian temporary residents to prolong stays in Canada.
“Considering the gross and systemic human rights violations ongoing in Iran, some Iranians who are temporarily in Canada are rightly concerned about returning home at this time,” Natural Resources Minister and North Vancouver MP Johnathan Wilkinson said.
“We are committed to making it easier for Iranians in Canada to extend their temporary status in Canada and for Canadian citizens and permanent residents to come home, and by prioritizing these cases to ensure that they are processed urgently so that individuals can have peace of mind.” [...]
