The mind numbing anger of chronic fatigue is getting irritable because you're so fucking tired but you really feel like you SHOULDNT BE.
You SHOULD be able to sit at a desk and do work. You SHOULD be able to just watch a freaking YouTube video. You SHOULD be able to just eat fucking lunch.
But you can't. Because your eyes are closing and it's like temporary death is taking you.

In a similar way to how I wish people without chronic pain and fatigue understood that staying in bed all the time isn't fun, I wish they understood that getting takeout all the time isn't fun either. I would LOVE to be eating home cooked meals but I just can't most of the time so fast food it is because I can't afford anything better with disability benefits. The novelty of bed and takeaway wears off Real Fast when it's your only option.
not everything you want to do needs to be good or profitable. please allow yourself to just make some doodles, write an unfinished poem, read half of a book per month, be a plant mom/dad with lots of dead plants, be able to play only twinkle twinkle little star on an instrument, dance weird, take ugly and out-of-frame photos.
everything you do is valuable, specially those you do because it makes you feel good.
This is because everything in my life requires work:
maintaining friendships
keeping up with my hygiene
managing bills
making money
remembering my basic needs
sleeping regularly
outputting creatively
All requires some aspect of work for me.
And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.
If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.
If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.
You're not dysfunctional.
You're not incapable.
You're doing your best.
