The world around you was a vibrant yellow and your cheeks were pink. You basked in the afterglow of laughter, the sun beaming down on your face. The wheat field around you was golden and the strands tickled your skin. Your white dress dragged across the dirt, staining it brown. Mud squished between your bare toes, but you wouldn’t have it any other way. Everything was serene as you stood in the middle of ginger field that stretched out for miles. A breathless smile spread on your lips, mouth parted, greedily taking in air. Maybe you shouldn’t have run as far and quick as you did, but you felt free. The white mansion with crimson rooftops was a mere speck in the distance. You close one eye and bring your pointer finger and thumb up, squishing the house between them. Repeating this several times, it brought a smile to your face.

“Can’t believe the bitch’s cow has strayed so far from the meadow.” The low and grumbly voice of one of the lords interrupted your focus on keeping quiet. The desk that was covering you flew up into the air, making you cover your head in an attempt to defend yourself. You felt someone kneel in front of you, and with shaky breath you eventually opened your eyes.

Heisenberg was looking down at you with a wide and toothy grin. Both his hat and glasses obscured your view of his eyes, but you didn’t need to see them in order to feel the cruel gaze he pressed on your skin. In his left hand, he was holding the handle of his hammer, and for a moment, you imagined the way he would slam it down on your head, splattering your contents across the dirty factory floor.

“Don’t whimper like that.” He warned as he lifted himself up, kicking you so you’d stand up too. “I’m not going to kill you if you listen to me.”

You glanced quickly to the man next to you, who likewise had his eyes glued to the floor as one hand rubbed at the back of his neck awkwardly—his face seemed to be almost as flushed as your own. Despite being your favorite professor, Mr. Aizawa was a stern man and you couldn’t bare to think how much trouble the two of you were in right now. Still, you wished he’d say something, anything at this point…

“I am very disappointed in you,” Aizawa began in that gruff tone of his, the one reserved for students who caused trouble in his lectures and it made you gulp, “Shinsou.”

You flicked your eyes up to look at your professor, brows furrowed as you tried to figure out why your boyfriend was being singled out in this. Did he think that he was taking advantage of you or something? You glanced towards your boyfriend, whose shoulders had slumped at his mentor’s words, head hanging in shame.

“Profess—” You tried to open your mouth to reason with him, to explain you were just as guilty but Aizawa held up a single finger to demand your silence and you bit your lip to comply.

“I’ve taught you quite a bit since you arrived here, and though you’ve flourished thus far, it would seem there is still one lesson I have to teach you.” Aizawa stated evenly, his face just as blank as always, you could never tell what he was thinking and that made you uneasy.

“I understand, Professor.” Shinsou replied softly, still unable to look the older man in the eye.

“Good.” Aizawa said as his gaze moved between the pair of you for a moment before speaking again. “Now, kiss her.”

“I-i—what?!” Shinsou blurted out, a bit louder than he had meant to as his violet eyes finally locked with his mentor’s gaze and his jaw went slack trying to make sense of what he had just heard.
