HIDDEN AGENDA BTS SPECIAL
I know that the underlying theme for chanbig is daddy kink but what if I raised you: soft chan.
Chan who just can’t say no to this boy that got thrown at him with a “make something out of him” order.
Chan who gives up on fighting big over his hair and one day decides to walk up to him and tie the loose strands in a ponytail.
Chan who doesn’t say anything when Big breaks in to his office at night to steal his liquor because he’s crying so Chan might as well leave him be.
Chan who always tells big to wear a bulletproof vest because “this fucking kid has a death wish, I swear”
Chan who refuses to acknowledge that he might have a favorite amongst the bodyguards and maybe his favouritism has something to do with the affection that he feels towards Big (who is now a man with sharp features and long limbs).
Chan who holds his breathe while he stands at the edge of the pool because Big is not coming up and even Ken seems worried about it and why isn’t Big coming up?
Chan who pushes Big against the lockers because “what was all that? were you trying to drown yourself?”
and Big who looks at him with narrowed eyes only to spit a whispered “why? do you care?
and the thing is: Chan cares — he cares so much it hurts so he simply crashes their lips together and Big clings to him: he clutches on chan’s jacket, his hair, his waist, on every single thing within his reach.
Chan who loves Big in the night and holds him so close that their foreheads bump against each other and big laughs and gasps and melts under chan’s touch.
Chan and Big don’t die in this story and when Kuhn Korn summons Chan it goes something like this:
“I believe your loyalty has shifted”
“My loyalty? No, sir. My loyalty belongs to the family but my life? Not anymore”
Lol they framed the whole conversation about racism around Trump’s racist ass remark. Nothing about issues affecting black people. Nope, just a feckless discussion about Trump’s racism and why it’s bad. Fuck.
And do not come to me about Kamala being better than Trump for Palestinians anymore. She is literally trying to compete on whom would allow Israel to kill Palestinians more.
And do not get me started on immigration because Democrats allowed the Republicans to reframe this issue so much that Kamala is campaigning on more border security than Trump.
i have too much joie de vivre for this

NCT 127 - Fact Check
I loved the Vegas and Pete scene in the temple because it truly shows how both Vegas and Pete function but also how the power structure between them truly comes into play.
Vegas and Pete both know that the other person is not there innocently and not coming into this conversation innocently. Vegas knows Pete is there to spy on him and Pete knows that Vegas is always up to no good, always wearing a fake heart on his sleeve.
And the entire scene is both of them not talking about that. Not touching on that. But nudging. Little pokes. Almost entirely from Pete but each response from Vegas is the same nudge in return.
They both know that they are not who they seem. They are both wearing masks for the world. They are both not who they are for the sake of the people around them.
And they see it in each other.
But the power structure, Vegas being able to order Pete around, Pete being unable to say no, Pete getting dragged along with them, Vegas showing him his own calmness in the face of the world...
Pete knows this isn't Vegas. And Vegas knows that too.
They both know that the other person knows but both of them are pretending they don't.
They both act like they're wearing their hearts of their sleeves while their true emotions lies behind a mask and their hearts are hidden. Vegas chained his up and Pete's is protected with a smile.
