I'd truly be the worst person to stick into a timeloop because I'd really just spend the first 5 years catching up on my book tbr, the next 7 on all the movies and shows that've Been On My List for ages, and then another decade on ao3. like sure nothing may stick but my memories will and i can just go into a supermarket to get snacks and wine each day, and i have art to indulge in. like thanks for the hints on how to get out but respectfully, I am busy
a writing competition i was going to participate in again this year has announced that they now allow AI generated content to be submitted
their reasoning being that "we couldn't ban it even if we wanted to, every writer already uses it anyway"

I really dislike when people lack true manners. And Iโm not talking about basic things like chewing with your mouth closed or saying thank you. Iโm talking about having a genuine respect for others โ gracefully making space for people on the sidewalk, choosing your words thoughtfully, and lifting others up with kind compliments. Itโs about allowing others to have the first share or the best seat, and being able to take a deep breath and move on from conflicts, without needing anything in return. Itโs not about neglecting yourself to serve others, but knowing thereโs a beautiful balance. It warms my heart whenever I feel and see it happen.

These fragile, obsolete discs hold some of the earliest recordings of a vanishing American culture. But this lawsuit goes far beyond old records. Itโs an attack on the Internet Archive itself.
