There's plenty of reason to be thankful...
During January of our “Now What?” Months, we’re here to give you some inspiration and resources as you dive into those daunting edits on your novel. While we usually share lots of advice with you from contemporary authors, sometimes it’s nice to take a look back through history and realize that editing problems have always been the same:
“Rewriting [is] very painful. You know it’s finished when you can’t do anything more to it, though it’s never exactly the way you want it… The hardest thing in the world is simplicity. And the most fearful thing, too. You have to strip yourself of all your disguises, some of which you didn’t know you had. You want to write a sentence as clean as a bone. That is the goal.”

This is a logo designed for What' Up San Antonio. A radio news program that will be reaching the youth in San Antonio, Texas. The tagline has been changed to "News from a Young Perspective". The people in that background represent young people gathering in a certain place to have fun and "do their own stuff", even though they are quite different, and involved in contrasting activities. Everything in that picture denotes life and movement as a youth icon.
The word "What's Up" is a young slang that represents "Hello, how you are doing", and San Antonio is the place where the news for youth are being delivered. According to Laura Ries to brand a product we need an image and a few words, and that image should have emotional power and should be your visual hammer. Our image includes youth playing in a background, and the words are "What's Up San Antonio", which is the name of the radio program.
Another aspect about branding is the Name of the product, and the Logo that identifies the brand as "unique". Name and Logo ideally should answer three questions: What exactly you do, who your customers are, and how you are going to be unique. When branding, all of the elements should be coherent, and gladly all of these three questions are accomplished in our product by the name of the radio program, the logo, and its tagline: What's Up San Antonio is a radio program (who are you?) reaching the youth (who are your customers?) and we are delivering "News from a Young Perspective" (How are you going to be unique?).
According to the Law of Color, red is the color of energy and excitement, and blue is peaceful and tranquil. We included those colors into our logo to denote that passion and that peacefulness in that specific background. (The 22 immutable laws of branding. Al Ries and Laura Ries).
Fairy tales are contested terrain — places where we battle out truth and power.

The idea of the twelve character archetypes was suggested by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. His theory on basic human personalities suggests that each human is led predominantly by one of four motivations during their lifespan, split into three separate character traits. These archetypes are now often used by writers as a basis for their characters.
The "Provide Structure" trait includes:
The Caregiver
The Creator
The Ruler
The "Spiritual Journey" trait includes:
The Innocent
The Explorer
The Sage
The "Leave a Mark" trait includes:
The Hero
The Outlaw
The Magician
The "Connect With Others" trait includes:
The Everyman
The Lover
The Jester

Project and Team Management is an interesting class. No project is done, if there is no involvement of people in it. In other words, people make the projects, and the project may or not work depending on the skills, talents, and willingness of people involved in it.
That is the main purpose of this class. Every project has five main areas that a team management would seek, in order to assess where the best resources are to get the job done: People, Resources, Places, Personalities and Budgeting.
How a project management will achieve the goal of increasing a production of cars from five hundred to one thousand in a day? Can we build the same cars with the same people, with the same resources and budget?. Changes in the process means changes in management.
Welcome to team management.
A team in the company is important to achieve success. A team that “manage” all the changes in the environment from planning, execution and control.
What resources do we have? What places are available? How do we connect different places with same policies at the same time? Do we use the Internet, do we use the web to get the messages to our partners all around the globe?
If we want to produce more, who is the leader that will challenge his team to get a little further? What skills and traits does every single person have to get the project done? What kind of leadership do we have at the other side? Is it a shark, an owl, a turtle, a teddy bear? What about the personality? Is it a dominant personality? Is it an influence personality? Is it a steadfast personality? Is it a Compliance personality? http://www.123test.com/disc-personality-test/
In real world, how do we combine all these types of personalities in a working place? Is it one better that the other one? Do we take advantages of every single personality to produce a meaningful and diverse team that achieve the goal of producing more? How?
Welcome to Project and Team Management, where knowledge is the key to open a world of opportunities to make things happen, and get the job done.
Just do it with knowledge. Knowledge is Project and Team Management.

Ana Gabriel... Simplemente Amigos.
Talking about loving ourselves...
Here you will find some of the things that I really like. I like writing, music, poems, and producing any idea that comes to my mind. I hope you like it!
