Ever since Quarentiner started You and Luke just sat around your house doing whatever you could to pass the time. For you that meant studying but since school hadnt started you didnt really need to do much. Unfortunately for you that meant Luke had a lot more time and less time to give you attention. Which led you to your predicament right now.
“But Luke.” You whined “Youve been strumming all day and I want attention.” You said pouting
He chuckled looking at you from his spot on the couch. “Well Bunny, Julie and the boys want more music especially after playing the Orpheum.” He said strumming.
You pouted and huffed “Okay but why cant Julie write it.” you said grabbing your sketchbook to draw Luke
“Be a good Bunny darling.” He said warning you. One thing luke doesnt like is when you whine to much. You nodded and drew his figure before he snapped his fingers
“Why dont you help me?” He asked handing you a music sheet filled with lyrics. You smiled and softly started to sing

Y/N had spent almost all of her afterlife surrounded by grown-ups. It was by chance, of course, that she was the youngest one at the Hollywood Ghost Club, but until Willie showed up about ten years before, that’s just how it was. And while every night at the HGC was a party…
There was nothing quite like a high-school house party.

a/n: don’t worry there’s no more haunted stuff after this. or missouri. Y/n doesn’t smoke she just feels the need to have a way to set fire to things on her person at all times. a pyromaniac, if you will. also they have been roommates this entire time i just forgot to mention it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Archie was not happy. He couldn’t believe that Douxie would just ditch him like this. It wasn’t like him. Watch the boat, Archie. We’ll be right back, Archie. That was seven hours ago. A rainstorm had come and gone even. He thought for sure that at least Y/n or Nari would have reminded the other two about his situation. But, no, here he was, soaked to the bone and still alone. In Missouri. In misery. As mad as he was though, he was equal parts worried. It wasn’t like Douxie to just forget about him. Something was wrong.
When he finally caught sight of the rest of the party returning to the ship, Arch breathed a sigh of relief. And then got ready to breath fire. Which he quickly put out, after seeing the looks on the kids’ faces once they got close enough. So something was wrong. They looked as if they’d seen a ghost.
“Are you three alright? What happened?”
“Nothing we didn’t survive. Look, we got the tent.” Douxie held up the box to show Archie. He just flicked his tail in response. “It’s already dark, so we’ll tell you all about it while we set up camp. Alright, Arch?”

Absolutely adorable!!
Hi! I was wondering if you could Reggie x Reader from Julie and the Phantoms where they both like each other but are oblivious and are always getting jealous and eventually it leads to a confession
Hi! I made this gender neutral BTW!
Ever since the band got another singer, Reggie got a little obsessed. As you were rehearsing a new song he caught himself watching you for a little too long. He shook the thought off and went back to the music. He went back to the thought when you walked back and ruffled Alex’s hair. He couldn’t tell what it was, but it felt like there was a pit in his stomach. He tried to get your attention, but failed. The song ended and you all cheered.
“Guys, we are literally awesome!” you cheer, sitting on the arm of the couch.
“it’s you, newbie!” Luke says
you shake your head. “It’s Alex’s sick drum shredding.”
He waves you off with a smile.
“Well, I’ll see you guys tonight!” you start collecting your things.
“Where are you goin’?” Reggie asks, toying with the sleeve of his flannel.
“I’ve got a study session with Dylan from my Science class,” you sigh.
“Oh,” he nods, looking down at his boots.
“I promise I’ll be on time for the show tonight. Love you guys!” you leave quickly.
Julie waves goodbye and takes out her notebook to jot down something she came up with. Reggie sighs and flops down on a chair, almost defeated.
“What is up with you, man?” Alex asks him, slapping the back of his head.
“What do you mean? I’m fine!”
“As if,” Luke joins in. “You were watching Y/N the entire practice today. And when they mentioned their study session, it was like they stabbed you.”
Alex looks up and points to Luke. “Reggie’s got a crush!”
Julie chimes in “Thank you for noticing. I’ve been aware of this for at least a week, now.”
Reggie shakes his head and goes to put his bass down on the stand. “No way! I-I don’t have a crush on Y/N.”
“Sure.”
“Even if I did, they don’t look at me like that!”
“He’s hopeless,” Luke shakes his head at Alex. “You need to tell them.”
Reggie shakes his head. “No way!”
“Hey. It’s now...or never.” Alex says with a smirk, causing the other two to push him away.
The boys continued to tease Reggie until it was time to leave for the show. He just shook his head and laid back.
At the show, you were anxious. It was the first show since you joined the band, so you were rightfully nervous.Your leg was bouncing as the boys whooshed in behind you and you nearly jumped. “Jeez! You scared me!”
Luke laughed, but noticed your fidgeting, “What’s got you so tense?”
“It’s my first show with you guys!”
They nod and notice Julie walk in with her dad. They whoosh away and you sigh and bury your head in your hands. You suddenly feel a pair of hands on your shoulders and look up to see Reggie behind you. “Hey,” you give him a weak smile.
“You’re gonna kill it tonight, Y/N!” he shakes you gently.
“You really think so?”
“I know so! I know how good you shred. And your vocals are the best I’ve ever heard. And who wouldn’t love you?”
You blushed and looked up at the stage. The announcer walked up and called out for the band. “Looks like its your time to shine,” he leads the way to the stage.
“Hi,” Julie waves to the crowd. “We’re Julie and the Phantoms. This is Y/N! It’s their first show with us tonight!”
You wave and smile to everyone, as you were met with cheering. Julie starts the song and you play along. The boys do their magic trick, causing the crowd to grow crazy. There’s an overwhelming feeling of confidence that washes over you and you play like crazy, filling the music with passion. Julie dances with you for a moment before turning to Alex. You look over to Reggie’s mic and notice he’s actually over with Luke, super close. Practically spitting in each other’s mouth’s. You feel something wash over you as the song ends.
You all bow and the boys disappear. You and Julie head back to the table they went to.
“That was legendary!” Luke starts celebrating.
Before you sat down, you pointed to the door. “I’m gonna get some air. It’s really hot in here,” you leave before anyone could object or offer to go with you.
You step outside and wrap your arms around you, the wind sending a chill down your spine. You didn’t even notice someone was out there with you until a jacket was placed on your shoulders. You look over to Reggie and smile at him. “Thanks,” you pull it over you more.
“You did really good out there tonight.”
“You too,” you nod and rock on your feet.
“What’s wrong? Everyone loved you.”
You shrug. “I-I dunno. I got this weird feeling in my stomach when we were up there. But other than that I was fine.”
“Do you know what could’ve caused it?”
You shake your head even though you know it was jealously.
He looks out to the street and takes a deep breath, remembering . “Can I tell you something?”
“Anything”
He plays with the zipper of his jacket. “Today...during practice. I got a little...jealous.”
You’re taken aback. “What? Why?”
“I dunno. You were playing with Alex and I just thought. ‘Wow. I wish that were me.’ A-and when you said you had a study session with that guy from school, I got disappointed I couldn’t spend more time with you. It’s stupid, I know-”
You cut him off and take his hand. “If it makes you feel better, I got jealous on stage just now.”
“No way.”
“Yeah,” you laugh. “I just saw you and Luke and I just, I dunno, felt a little pang in my chest.”
He shakes his head in disbelief. “Can I ask you something?”
“If it’s what I think you’re asking the answer is yes.”
He laughs and runs his fingers over your knuckles. “So a date at the park tomorrow after you get out of school?”
“He gottem, guys!” you heard Luke cheer from inside the door.

Warning: Swearing, fluff, female!reader, do street dogs count now??
Words: 3.0k
Requested: By @beautifulblogsblog . The request was detailed so this request with be 5 parts and shorter since I have no clue where 3.0k came from?! Enjoy.
A/N: Interesting fact about the stand where the guys get the streets dogs is the name of shady business is a play on words. Say the name fast and you’ll catch on.
Los Angeles, Early 1990s
Sunset Curve started as a fun little project for a group of four teenagers from all walks of life and different stories. It came about when a kind blonde boy was trying to find a socially acceptable way to hang out with someone he was currently seeing. It worked because Alex had learnt drumming as a way to work his frustrations out, he didn’t feel like he could punch someone, so boxing was a no go. Luke, the guy he was seeing, had received a guitar from his parents and self-taught himself how to play. The Patterson parents believed it would be a phase and he’d get serious about education.

Los Angeles, California. 1995.
“Good morning City of Angels, this is Josh Fern at 106.7, bringing you your daily dose of pop tunes and the week’s biggest hits! We’ve got your sunshine while the clouds stay over our hometown, though they should be gone by the weekend. The time is 6.31, and this is our fan favourite of this week, Waterfalls by-”
The voice was cut out with a bang, a hand coming from under a mess of pillows and comforter to shut off the radio alarm clock. The nails were short, partially bitten away and partially trimmed, the fingers tips calloused and the black nail polish on them chipped away. The arm that followed had a collection of bracelets and wrist bands around it, a catalogue of the last year of events and gifts from friends. It disappeared back amongst the fluffy warm of the grey sheets, its owner hoping for another half hour of sleep.
A loud clatter sounded from just beyond the door, and the bed’s inhabitant sat right up, jumping out of bed, and slipping on a pair of fuzzy blue slippers before running to their door.

A/N: AAAAAHHH i gotta stop writing shit at 3am. it’s showing. also i cant believe i reworked their entire planned trip route for this. ajhqhdsjhfljh i have no excuses for any of this
Douxie was uncharacteristically quiet during the trip through the first bit of Indiana. Y/n hung over the railing feeling awkward. The treetops below flew past her in a blur. Y/n kinda felt bad, like maybe she had broken him. Did she nudge a little too hard? She had thought, if anything, her flirting would get him flirting too. Hell, Doux flirted with everyone. It was just part of his charismatic persona he’d built over the years. And he had been so strange this week, but especially strange during the time they’d spent on the road. Every time Y/n had thought she’d figured something out with him, he’d surprise her.
