My husband has become a prisoner of the Israeli occupation😭😭
After we were besieged in Rafah for more than four days, the tent was demolished over my heads, my children, and my husband, and we were able to miraculously escape. For those whose story of escape was not complete, because they were able to capture my husband and he is now their prisoner after he was injured in his feet from the bombing. My child was also exposed to danger and underwent a difficult surgical operation that failed. My family is now without a father, without a breadwinner for us, in light of this war and this catastrophic famine. I cannot provide food and drink for my children, nor can I provide treatment for my sick child. Please help us by donating to save us from danger.

I just finished rereading aot again for the fourth time probably. I love chapter 114. I also am a bit pissed that i have to rewrite my thoughts AGAIN. Because Tumblr decided my connection was ass. (IT WAS NOT). Anyway i love zeke as a kid so much. This chapter means so much to me because we get to see zeke without all the lying. Without the beard or the glasses that makes it hard to read his fucking expressions and thoughts. Finally a peek into his fucking brain .
He was an honest kid. He was a kid. He cried, and laughed, and smiled just like one. This chapter felt so humanizing for me. I love when his smile reached his eyes. He was so expressive growing up. And he probably still is if those fucking glasses and beard doesnt cover most of his face. Like cmon id like to see your eyes please?? The window to your soul? I love you for being so mysterious ig.
His eyes is so expressive. The way he doesnt even look them in the eye... He doesnt want to be a warrior. I think this shows how evil and hate isnt born, its taught. He wasn't born a liar.

My friend Mahrah (@mahrahpalestine) is an engineering student. She is brilliant and speaks with a clarity of analysis and thoughtfulness (even in a second language, even while living in crisis), that is profoundly impressive and humbling to me. She holds hope that Palestine will be free, and when it is, she will use her knowledge and skill to help rebuild.
Her father lost his job due to the war, and she does not have the money for university fees. The situation for her and other Palestinians is getting more difficult as the duration of the crossing closure increases, and the genocidal famine is leading to sickness and starvation.
Mahrah explained, "Food is missing from the markets. If the food is found, it is usually unhealthy because it contains preservatives and we eat it for a year and 8 months, and this causes diseases. But there are no other options to do without it. My nephews are at risk for my father's and mother's diseases and need healthy food because they are at an advanced age. It's like a famine, but there is no media to cover what's happening. They killed all the journalists."

This war has really taken a toll on us. It's destroyed our bodies, our lives, and our souls. It has been so sad to see our homes destroyed, our belongings taken from us, and our beautiful places ruined. It has also changed our situation for the worse. We were living a pretty good life, you know? Peaceful, loving, and full of life. But then, we found ourselves in a really tough spot. Hunger, fear, and terror have become our new normal. My kids and I, along with my extended family, are struggling to make ends meet. We don't have the basic necessities of life, and our living situation is pretty rough. We're in these old, falling-apart tents. It's so hard to know what to do when winter comes. We'll be soaked in the rain and wind, and I'll be at a loss as to how to keep my family safe, from the bombing and from the winter.🥹

I absolutely love your headcanons and analysis of Zeke so much<33 thank you for existing and giving love to my favourite character, i look forward to every new post. Im currently rereading aot for the third time again, and I wish we got more content of the warriors so badly 😭 pls I love them so much. Imma be honest, idk how to word this. i wonder in my head if I'm mischaracterizing zeke because a lot of the fandom likes saying he's an emotionless narcissist. But I don't see him that way at all in my head. It's the hard part with loving an incredibly secretive character because people can't tell what's in his goddamn head and people don't know which words are lies and which aren't, not until the end when he dies at least and he's his most honest self as he dies. Do you think Zeke grew to care for the warriors? i want to believe he genuinely cares for them. Cause they were just children. In a similar way I think founder Ymir does care for her kids. Cause founder Ymir and Zeke parallel each other a lot. I love your headcanons for Zeke and the warriors<3.

and yes literally questioning if you're mischaracterizing him is SO REAL. but seeing how people in the fan base slander characters who killed the fan favorites (COUGH COUGH Gabi killing Sasha) convinces me that people refuse to genuinely analyze Zeke because he killed Erwin and Miche etc. which sucks because Zeke is BY FAR one of the most complex characters in AOT.
people often cite Zeke's method and mindset about killing people to prove that he's sociopathic or emotionless, but to me that is so clearly disassociation. he has been in the military since he was 6 YEARS OLD. he also literally says he hates war/violence multiple times. and as for the narcissism, I think it's people misinterpreting his savior complex. going from "Eldia's Salvation" to "Wonder Boy" is doomed to mess up someone's psyche. I also think due to being forced to take care of the warriors at such a young age gave him a parentified eldest child mindset, where he feels he has to fix everyone and everything.
i do think he cared about the warriors in a very cautious, Zeke type of way. it's obvious that he adores Pieck, and Porco seemed quite upset at his betrayal meaning that there was some relationship there. I think he had a complex dynamic with Reiner because Reiner's babyish behavior as a child and the fact that Zeke was his caretaker, as well as the fact that they are very similar. I personally believe Zeke and Annie were very close due to their similarities, and the fact that I think Zeke was very protective over the girls due to the treatment he was undergoing by creepy Marleyan officers. Bertholdt and Marcel we don't really know about as much in relation to Zeke. he also obviously loves Colt because they play catch together and Colt was the only person (other than Pieck) who made Zeke hesitate to go through with his plan.
i think also similar to Ymir, Zeke is willing to sacrifice his children for the thing he is a slave to. Ymir was willing to sacrifice her children to the wrath of their father, and Zeke sacrifices his children for the greater good of the world/saving the world/humanity

Before the genocide started, he was a student in Advanced Technology, but his studies have come to a stop because of the tragedy happening in Palestine. Because of the Israeli occupation's attack on his land, his house has been destroyed from the bombings. Fadel and his family were injured, and there were very few hospitals that could treat them, since most hospitals have also been reduced to rubble. Fadel is in need of surgery, and it cannot be performed in Gaza due to the lack of resources
Fadel lives in pain every day, with shrapnel inside his body. He urgently needs to be evacuated out of Gaza to receive proper treatment, and the cost of this is very high

When water is available, it is unclean and unfit for drinking. This has caused the spread of epidemics and viruses that caused the spread of skin rashes in my family. Animal food, such as fodder and barley, was mixed to provide food for my family, which caused stomach pain and diarrhea.
I beg you In achieving my dream of having children, I got married at the age of fifteen and now it has been five years since my marriage and I have not had children, so please help me collect money to plant children. 😭🙏😢

it really hurts me to see so many gazans asking us for help, though that's through no fault of their own. they've been forced to use a social media site that they're probably not familiar with (because tumblr has kind of faded out of popular consciousness), to interact with us in a second language, to distinguish themselves from the scammers who are taking advantage of genocide, and to ask strangers for help. i don't think there are any cultures where it's easy to ask for help like this, but i'm intimately familiar with how humiliating it can be in arab culture. please be kind, gracious and helpful to the gazans in your inbox. this is a desperate time for them, and in addition to the physical danger inflicted by "israel", the prices of basic resources in gaza are extremely high due to scarcity, and those that manage to escape to egypt are financially exploited by landlords there and have an extremely difficult time finding work due to their unofficial status as refugees. these families will continue to need our help and i hope we can all continue to provide it to the best of our ability.
