"Here are your tortured poets. All from Mahmoud Darwish to Dr. Refat Alareer to Khaled Juma, these are tortured poets. Tortured by longing for a home they can never return to, tortured by the world they were born to for BEING BORN. Palestine, home to the tortured poets department." [@/folkoftheshelf on X. hey do you wanna come to the creek and look for frogs n pretty rocks with me?
Hello everyone, I have an update to make.
Sarah's son Amir was born with a condition which makes it difficult for him to move. In order to treat this, he used to receive regular physical therapy, a special diet of ground food, and special medicine; however, since last October, he has been unable to access these necessities of his life.
This has caused his condition to deteriorate. Along with these horrors, he and his family suffers like every other Palestinian in Ghazza; in a dirty tent without basic human resources.
In order for Amir and his family to evacuate and for him to continue his treatment, they need to raise β¬35,000. Since my last post about this campaign, they've only managed to raise β¬1,961; an obvious improvement from their previous number of 0, but still not nearly enough.
Amir needs this treatment to live. Please donate if you can and share this campaign so he and his family can survive.

Help Mohamed and His Family Escape Gaza for a Safe Future β€οΈβπ©Ήπ
Dear Friends,
I am Mohamed Nabeel Alanqar from Gaza π΅πΈ, married to Aya, and we have three children: Nabeel (7 years old), Amir (4 years old), and Lami (10 years old). We once lived a hopeful and ambitious life, working tirelessly to secure a bright future for our children.
I worked alongside my father and brothers in our family business, manufacturing aluminum windows, which was our primary source of income. π
However, the relentless conditions in Gaza have left us with no space for stability. Our home has suffered partial damage, and our apartments have been severely affected.
We have been forced to relocate multiple times from northern Gaza, where we live, to the south due to ongoing evacuations. These repeated moves have left us in a constant state of uncertainty and intensified our struggles. π π
My wife, Aya, is under immense psychological strain as she strives to keep our childrenβs lives stable amid these harsh conditions. Our children have fallen ill due to the deteriorating health and environmental conditions, and we are deeply concerned for their well-being and future. Their education is also at risk because of the severe economic difficulties we face. ππΆ
We are launching this campaign to secure a safe and stable future for our family.
We desperately need financial support to cover living expenses, provide essential medical care for our children, and ensure their education. Additionally, we are contemplating traveling through the Rafah border in search of safety and stability abroad. This journey involves significant costs for travel, accommodation, and establishing a new environment where we can rebuild our lives. ππΌ
The emotional and physical toll on our family has been immense. Each day, we grapple with the fear of what tomorrow might bring, and the uncertainty of our childrenβs future weighs heavily on us. Your support can help lift this burden and provide us with a glimmer of hope. π
Your immediate support is crucial to help us achieve this goal. Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a profound difference in helping us overcome this crisis and start anew in a safe place. Your generosity will not only help us escape our current reality but will also restore our hope for a better tomorrow. πβ¨
In this pivotal moment, we hope you will stand with us, offering your support so we can fulfill our dream of a dignified and stable life. Your compassion and solidarity are the sources of strength and hope that keep us moving forward. π
With heartfelt thanks and gratitude,β€οΈπ

hi everyone, mahmoud (@hillesmahmoud) has reached out to me and asked me to share his story with you all. mahmoud has been living as a refugee in belgium for 7 years. this, unfortunately, means that he has been separated from his wife and four beautiful children for this long, even missing the birth of his youngest child. additionally, his wife suffers from kidney issues and had to have her left kidney removed before the war.
now, his wife and children have been enduring genocide for 11 months without him. he is forced to worry every day for the safety and of his family who he hasn't seen in years from thousands of miles away. in addition, his wife has been suffering due a lack of medical infrastructure due to her need for treatment for her kidney. mahmoud is haunted by the possibility of her succumbing to her illness and leaving his children orphaned and displaced.
as of september 4th, β¬24,988 / β¬37,000 has been raised to evacuate mahmoud's family to egypt and fund treatment for his wife. additionally, his fundraiser is verified by nabulsi here. any amount you're able to donate, even just β¬5, makes a difference. if you're unable to donate, please reblog or otherwise share mahmoud's story and fundraiser so that he may see a day where he and his family are safely and happily reunited.
So cool to see the growth!
No it's not that I don't appreciate the flirting, I just wish you wouldn't do it while I'm in the middle of vivisecting you. Yes I know that it's really hot when I'm covered in your blood elbow deep in your chest cavity that's why I keep vivisecting you. But I keep getting flustered and dropping your liver and its really slippery so I keep dropping it over and over again leading to very comedic slapstick comedy where I slip on your blood and fall over really funny
