foreshadowing done well makes me go feral like there’s NOTHING better than getting to the end a book or an important storyline moment and realising that the author laced information so intricately into their writing that weren’t noticeable upon first read but when you read back sections they’re light giant red flags like wow writing is amazing

I had a dream they released a new neopet that looked like this

When you adopted him it wasn't on fire but it was also the only pet that could gain the status "on fire". once it had it nobody knew how to make it stop being on fire.

honestly, i want to say that our ancestors would be ashamed of how our government is running and the effects of the election, but would they really? would the first few presidents really be disappointed? they're all sexist, most of them hated LGBTQIA+ if not all and there was slavery and racism back then. most things that are illegal now weren't then. would they really be disappointed? would they really take Kamala's side? she's a black woman, would they not take trumps side?

really itches your brain to think that this is all america has ever been. homophobia, racism, felons, and sexism. and its never going to change.
