I find the "Five Pebbles and the Ancients are lying to you" interpretations to be incredibly obnoxious. I think Moon has her biases, and the Ancients had a bit of a savior complex but...

You're going to go up to the iterator- the giant skyscraper sized brain thats centuries old (or older!) who has been researching and pondering for just as long. You're going to go to the Ancients who have been working together and theorizing and attempting to understand this world for even LONGER

And you're going to tell me that these two groups who've lived in this world forever- who've understood it the most they can. And you're telling me that they're just fucking lying to you? That they don't know anything?

That Five Pebbles was "blinded" or is a mouthpiece for the Ancients' zealotry and wrong beliefs...

I think we should trust the very few narrators we get. Even if they're people and have their own biases about how things are and will be, or how they choose to deliver this info to you. I don't see why we shouldn't trust them
