I’m going to say something that a LARGE, if not disproportionate, amount of the Hazbin fandom would absolutely drag me for. If you don’t like what I have to say here then move on.

Alastor is aro ace. You can argue till you’re blue in the face, it won’t change my mind. His identity is not respected. The entire fandom disregards this and even those who agree go on a tangent that aromanticism and asexuality are spectrums and that aro ace people can still date/have sex.

As an aro ace person in a relationship, respectfully, fuck off. I’ve been out for 10 years and in that time I have seen other queer people argue endlessly about the validity of our identities. To this day it’s still an argument. We’re told we aren’t queer, that we’re robotic, weird, missing something fundamentally human, etc. Aro ace rep in media is rare and as soon as we get some you guys suddenly jump on the bandwagon that we are in fact a spectrum while most of you completely miss the understanding and culture of the community. There are so many complexities and nuances in our identities that many outside don’t understand and can’t understand. In real life, we constantly have to experience “othering” and if we do date/have sex, well then suddenly we don’t apply to be aro ace. But when it’s a character that you all want to mess with, suddenly you “get it”. You don’t.

“Viv said we can do whatever as long as we’re respectful!” You aren’t. If you’re so convinced that we are a spectrum, then why does it seem like you can never believe he’s on the side of being entirely disinterested. Aro ace belittling is as strong as ever and I will speak up on it just as I always have.

Like I said before, dni if you’ve got a problem with this. I already have to deal with flak enough as it is.

📚Here is my list:

The "how to draw manga" series produced by Graphic-sha. These are for manga artist but they give great advice and information.

"Creating characters with personality" by Tom Bancroft. A great book that can help not just people who draw cartoons but also realistic ones. As it helps you with facial ques and how to make a character interesting.

"Albinus on anatomy" by Robert Beverly Hale and Terence Coyle. Great book to help someone learn basic anatomy.

"Artistic Anatomy" by Dr. Paul Richer and Robert Beverly Hale. A good book if you want to go further in-depth with anatomy.

"Directing the story" by Francis Glebas. A good book if you want to Story board or make comics.

"Animal Anatomy for Artists" by Eliot Goldfinger. A good book for if you want to draw animals or creatures.

"Constructive Anatomy: with almost 500 illustrations" by George B. Bridgman. A great book to help you block out shadows in your figures and see them in a more 3 diamantine way.

"Dynamic Anatomy: Revised and expand" by Burne Hogarth. A book that shows how to block out shapes and easily understand what you are looking out. When it comes to human subjects.

"An Atlas of animal anatomy for artist" by W. Ellenberger and H. Dittrich and H. Baum. This is another good one for people who want to draw animals or creatures.

Etherington Brothers, they make books and have a free blog with art tips.

As for Supplies, I recommend starting out cheap, buying Pencils and art paper at dollar tree or 5 below. For digital art, I recommend not starting with a screen art drawing tablet as they are more expensive.

For the Best art Tablet I recommend either Xp-pen, Bamboo or Huion. Some can range from about 40$ to the thousands.

So do with this information as you will but as you can tell there are ways to learn how to become an artist, without breaking the bank. The only thing that might be stopping YOU from using any of these things, is YOU.

I have made time to learn to draw and many artist have too. Either in-between working two jobs or taking care of your family and a job or regular school and chores. YOU just have to take the time or use some time management, it really doesn't take long to practice for like an hour or less. YOU also don't have to do it every day, just once or three times a week is fine.

I thought since this post I made seemed to be liked, I would take it upon myself to show the rest of where that idea came from. What I have here are 4 Octonauts AUs I have made, I will give you a brief summary about them below if you are interested. :}

Octonauts Swapped: An AU where characters that are usually seen as a pair/duo/team, I.E. Captain Barnacles and Kwazii, have their roles and personalities swapped.

Octonauts Scrambled: An AU very similar to Swapped, but everyone is switched around with no correlation to each other. The characters have been randomly selected and have swapped personality’s and roles with someone other random crew member. Essentially, scrambling them.

Octonauts Pirates: In this AU, instead of the “Octonauts” being a professional crew of underwater researchers, they are a band of pirates that go by the same name.

Octonauts Sea Dwellers: An Au where everything is the same, except all those crazy pirate stories Kwazii tells about all these scary sea monsters are actually true.

So I’ve seen a few people go over the AU idea of Vaggie being found by Carmilla after she falls, and I thought what if she was rescued by Rosie instead?

Like after the Extermination the little boy she spares tells Rosie and the other cannibals about this Angel that let him run away, and insists on dragging them back there because he heard her screaming from his new hiding spot.

They find Vaggie passed out and back and face soaked in ichor, but instead of eating her Rosie brings her back to Cannibal Town and patches her up as a way of saying thank you for saving that little boy (though the towels and rags used to clean her wounds and her old clothes get heavily fought over because everyone wants to know what ichor tastes like).

Vaggie of course is very disoriented upon waking up and is incredibly uncomfortable with the whole cannibalism thing, but she also really doesn’t want to piss off the people who could rip her apart.
