Another day, another perfect pick me up Stucky fic :)

This fic is short but sweet with a touch of sexy foreshadowing. As with any of our more compact stories, I won’t say too much so I don’t ruin it but I will say that the banter game in this fic is on point and fantastic. Bucky is sassy, teasing, and totally has a read on poor befuddled Steve and I am so here for it!

I loved this fic and if you too love sassy banter, I highly encourage you to check this one out.

i love taking the idea of “the serum gave steve better muscles and better senses” and just pushing it just that little bit into uncanny valley territory. he can see very slightly into the ultravioliet and infared spectra, moves/thinks quicker than normal people (hes conciously slowing himself down a LOT bc he knows it freaks people out) and is just. really strong. all of him is very strong. he can open a can of beans with a fingernail. 

Angsty Romantic Cliches I’m a Slut For 

Holding their partner’s unconscious/dead body

Sobbing into their partner’s shoulder/chest

One of them is hurt and the other falls asleep in their hospital room

The other losing their mind when their partner is hurt/killed and charging into battle recklessly

People through years has learned to define stages of grieving, they have learned how to explain what it is we are feeling. They have words for almost everything yet the best word to describe the saddest feeling is being hollow. And he had been hollow for years, there were a few more emotions present, mostly anger, but emptiness was never filled. No matter what he would do it was present, it stayed with him during every part of the day. Sometimes falling asleep was too hard as only silence surrounded him.
