as a librarian and archivist, fanfiction about goncharov is FASCINATING. as far as i can tell, this is the first time a fandom tag has been applied for a source material that doesn’t exist. obviously fandom tags have been used in interesting ways before, from the most conventional conundrum of crossovers (that alliteration was accidental! oops…); to fanfiction for fanfiction (e.g. DTA fanfiction); to fanfiction for a broader work which has several manifestations (e.g. “Marvel”, which is more of a conceptual work than a real source text, since it manifests differently in comics, movies, TV shows etc.); to original content (which just gets its own fandom tag). but has there ever been a case where a fandom is created for a source text that never existed in the first place?
and is there a duty on the part of ao3 cataloguers/archivists to represent that unreality in the description? does ao3 ever provide contextual description for standard tags? normally (for example - the tag description for 9-1-1) it just says what category the tag falls under. i’m sure i could read more about it in cataloguing/classification journals but if anyone has insight lemme know :)
are some of the people newer to tumblr aware of the joys of theme customization on desktop? I know some ppl are just on mobile so they can’t really change things but like SO many blogs nowadays have 0 theme customization and just use the default theme and I’m beginning to wonder if they even know about the option. It’s one of the main reasons why I still use tumblr

Ngl I was really inspired by this ask that I started to make a bunch of doodles of zosan spy x family au where sanji is a spy, zoro is an assassin, and toko is their telepathic daughter. Here's some that I've made!
Do note that these are basically just anime re-draws because I've only watched the anime so far haha. I also give Zoro red eyes so that it'll match Yor's.
One character I haven't quite found the match from OP is probably Yuri. I was thinking that it could be Perona, but instead of the clingy younger sibling she's like, the annoying big sister who likes to nag Zoro but truly deeply cares about him. So when she heard that he's married she's all like "OMG who is this person who wants to marry him of all people?? But most importantly I NEED TO KNOW IF THEY'RE TREATING MY CUTE LITTLE BROTHER RIGHT" etc etc. However I don't know the extent of Yuri's personality beyond what I've learned from the anime, so who knows, there might be another character who fits him better :'u
Regardless though, "why didn't you tell me you're married?" "I forgot to" is like. The Zoro-est thing that I could ever imagine sjfdhj long live the 'dangerous bloodthirsty assassin who has absolutely no clue how to act like a Normal Person' trope

25-35 is such a weird fucking age because you’re 100% a bread-and-butter Standard Edition Millennial but the cool teens are like “ok boomer” because you have a Real Job but the actual Boomers at your job are like “I’m not going to listen to a literal fucking child” as they download 16 self-replicating viruses and meanwhile the Gen Xers are telling you to refinance a mortgage for a house you don’t have and you’re sitting there at the Adults Table with the pretty tasty casserole you cooked because you’ve finally figured out how to do that now but everyone is eating the Boomer’s store-bought macaroni instead and admittedly they do sort of taste similar so it probably wasn’t worth all the trouble of cooking from scratch and you’re trying to comfort the freshly-graduated sobbing 22-year-old next to you because she just woke up here and doesn’t know where she is but you have like maybe 5k dollars in a savings account labelled RETIREMENT that grows approx. twelve cents a year and you keep eating dry macaroni while smiling incomprehensibly and periodically blacking out like ??????????
