Okay, so I just got the book and all I have to say is OH NO

I'll never stop thinking about how we got little to know back ground on most of the children like

Where is the backstory whyyyy

I wanted to see their backstories before the events of the books so had but there's barely even hints as to what their lived were like before and we only get any real backstory for Emma, Bronwyn and Victor, and Hugh and Fiona.

We got some vauge hints as to Enoch's back story but that was pretty much it
