Just some more Ring-Billed Gulls.
Larus delawarensis - Ring-billed Gull
Larus delawarensis - Ring-billed Gull
Sometimes these three would all turn their heads in the same direction at the same time. It was adorable.
Larus delawarensis - Ring-billed Gull He was angry.
Mimus polyglottos - Northern Mockingbird
We were having a whistling competition.
Pipilo erythrophthalmus - Eastern Towhee
I saw him carrying nesting material into those bushes, he’s such a handsome little man.
I just have so many pictures of gulls that I need to post. :')
A rehabilitated, juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk moments before being released back into the wild.
A beautiful, male, Long-tailed Duck in his breeding plumage.
Spotted in Virginia. A vulnerable species, close to being endangered. They are named for their long tail, but that’s not very surprising. They breed in the Tundra, and are deep sea divers that feed on small fish and crustaceans, they truly are amazing an unique birds!
I love eating ice cream next to a fire. It’s like a race, you know? A race against time.

UPDATE!!!!!! It’s a Northern Harrier. I don’t see them very often so I’m not really very good at identifying them.
I’m not sure what bird this is actually.
Sorry for the bad quality pictures. If anyone knows what bird this is, could they tell me? Thanks!

Northern Mockingbird
I love taking pictures of mockingbirds. They’re very photogenic, and they’re just so adorable.
Red-shouldered Hawk
It was a cloudy day, so the lighting isn’t very good, but look at how pretty those wings are!

Black Vulture We named the little fella Charlie. His wing is broken/fractured (We're not sure which), and it healed badly, but Charlie seems to be doing a great job at surviving anyway.
He's so precious :')
Northern Mockingbird
Moments after I took this photo, it attacked the car. Such an aggressive, and angry little man!
Canada Goose
They were in one of the Vernal Pools we were monitoring. They left as soon as we got to the pool.
Downy Woodpecker
He hangs out by my house everyday with his lady friend.
@theuniversalchild
Monitoring Vernal Pools with my family and a really neat friend. This is how we had to measure the pools. It was great.
