I'm a huge fan of how they framed Joel's hospital fight. The gunshots are muted and the music is somber. Yeah, Joel saved Ellie, but he's not framed as the good guy as he continued to run through that hospital and kill everyone in sight. He may have saved his world but he screwed over everyone else. Joel isn't a hero. He's a parent who didn't want to lose another kid
it really hurts me to see so many gazans asking us for help, though that's through no fault of their own. they've been forced to use a social media site that they're probably not familiar with (because tumblr has kind of faded out of popular consciousness), to interact with us in a second language, to distinguish themselves from the scammers who are taking advantage of genocide, and to ask strangers for help. i don't think there are any cultures where it's easy to ask for help like this, but i'm intimately familiar with how humiliating it can be in arab culture. please be kind, gracious and helpful to the gazans in your inbox. this is a desperate time for them, and in addition to the physical danger inflicted by "israel", the prices of basic resources in gaza are extremely high due to scarcity, and those that manage to escape to egypt are financially exploited by landlords there and have an extremely difficult time finding work due to their unofficial status as refugees. these families will continue to need our help and i hope we can all continue to provide it to the best of our ability.

I started this post with the intent to laugh about how the bachisagi break-up was too dramatic coz it's not like they won't ever see each other again, but then it hit me... There actually was a big chance they won't ever see again.
"It's all over if we lose again..."
"And if we lose again, you'll be the one who gets stolen. I won't be chosen..."
Isagi was full-on panicking here. If he gets kicked out of Blue Lock, then he really never will see Bachira again. It's why he's so depressed.
The two pages below are really important in providing the context for those panels above
"In that moment, my head still hadn't fully grasped... the meaning of what I lost here that which I now have to chase."
Not including the image, but there's also this line: "I feel like I just lost something important."
Isagi had made the egotistical choice in playing against Rin's team despite knowing the risks involved... But it was only after he lost that he actually understood what exactly he was risking. It wasn't just the threat of getting kicked out of Blue Lock and having his dreams crushed. It was also the possibility of losing Bachira, his friend, as well as the first person who ever believed in him.
Thus, Isagi spent the rest of the second selection arc dead-set on winning Bachira back. He doesn't care about having such an amazing player like Rin on his team anymore. He just wants Bachira back 😭

lmao the worst thing about being Palestinian is you’ll be fucking grieving and you are STILL expected to articulate all your thoughts in the most coherent manner IN ENGLISH and have at least 25 citations backing up any point you make, even if you’re just talking about the way you are feeling . otherwise the west is just going to paint you as a barbarian
I made Mob Psycho 100 motivational posters based on all the important lessons I took away from the series using official art
