not enough people are writing sal as the absolutely neurotic freak i know him to be. worry not, though, for i am fixing this problem, one fanfiction at a time.

because like, in the real world, a person like sal with all the experiences he has is going to be fucking crazy, and not in a way that is pretty or relatable to most people. i need to see him do some crazy shit. i wanna see him breaking into people's houses because he wants a sense of control. i wanna see him waste 9 hours staring at a wall. i wanna see him boarding up his windows, absolutely balls deep in paranoia. i wanna see him not come out of his room for 2 weeks because he's giving in to agoraphobia.

I have many thoughts about the new Wolverine book. Starting with Kurt and Logan’s reunion.

Logan is feral at the moment, not observing and just reacting. But the moment he has a hint of clarity (from Kurt’s scent) Kurt leaps into an embrace.

Claws still out, probably not quite lucid yet but nope, Kurt’s gonna hug you!

and a big thank you to the art here (by Martin Coccolo & Bryan Valenza) because in the last panel, it just looks like Logan….melts into the embrace. Like a weight just dropped off his shoulders. The eyes are drawn so good here, he looks sad, tired and just needing some comfort; and who better to provide some solace than his best friend, Nightcrawler.
