Grian kept having flashbacks to the other life series during the finale, which was really confusing for him because he only really remembers 3rd life. This led him to become more frantic

Also, the Watchers had influence over him killing Jimmy. Lizzie was collateral damage.

during the finale he had a slight purple tinge to his eyes and wings. This was stronger during the final fight

he had flashbacks to 3rd life and limited life during the fight

whenever he had the 'mimic' power he had purple feathers and a hidden extra eye

when mumbo and skizz came back he was gonna hug em. then they started insulting him. and that'll relate to something I'll yap about next

the entire theme of this series was the Watchers whispering to grian 'watch helplessly. You can't do anything.' he almost did do smth when he came second, but he didn't, and they laughed

I have a drawing of the trivia bot asking 'They love torturing you, don't they?' and all the answers being 'yes, they do' it's not finished yet

The Bamboozlers as the following: Lizzie, the Ringmaster, saying 'Welcome in!', Solidarity, the trapeze artist/tightrope walker, with words saying 'Always teetering on the edge of life and death', and Scar, the magician, holding up a card and saying 'Was this your card?' It's a joker, and grian is the jester.

hi !!! i wanted to know if you have a few tips on how you do your poses ? im not the greatest at them and want to see what others have to offer ^v^''

also , i absolutely ADORE your art ! it motivates me a lot

first of all thank you sm!! poses are literally my favourite thing to plan out so ill try my best to explain ghdfskl

so i usually break the body shape down like this

the body is basically like a 2-part rectangle which i can push in whatever direction i want to lead the pose- i like to exaggerate the shape to emphasise the uhh force of that push ig? i just play around with it until i get the energy i want

for idle/straight on poses i try to make them seem like they're doing something so that the pose forms more of a trapezium than a stiff rectangle, let the characters have some fun!

at this stage i don't really mind if the anatomy isn't completely accurate since i can fix that at the lineart/2nd sketch, im just focusing on getting the flow down so i let my lines be loose, just as long as i know which limb goes where then im good

also back poses!! most of the time you see the front of the character so drawing the back can be refreshing for me :) they flow just as well as the front ones too!

the same pose can be drawn in different angles- sometimes i put down a (very freestyled) perspective grid to define the space around the character and see where they can stand, and imagine a floating camera depending on where i want the focal point to be

you also don't really need to fret about following the grid to a T, just as long as they look grounded and the angle seems right

i like to slap down a few random grids to see how the character can interact with them, and they don't even need to be touching the character- they're just guidelines after all

for me i think of poses with a main line of action and a secondary contrasting motion (though sometimes one main line is enough), the second line adds a little flair and weight while the main is what you see at first glance

use references also! i can't emphasise that enough!! there's always pinterest or (especially for action poses) fight scenes from storyboards or from the finished film, which i love looking through frame-by-frame bc the keyframes and in-betweens are gold mines for inspiration- lego monkie kid is one of my go-to's for high energy poses!

im not sure what I want to do with this au. im stuck between only drawing silly jokes I come up with or giving it an actual plot and story. im just kinda scared that once I start something I'll lose motivation and never finish. but oh well, I'll give it some thought first. im too attached to give up yet

EDIT: I think im going to give it a plot because im now very attached to this becoming a magical girl ish story lol

Ohhh I'm so glad I finally get to draw to Ballad of the Walking Machines!! This one has been rattling around in my head since last year's wrapped drawings, but I was never able to put any of my thoughts onto paper!

On Bdubs' playlist, this song has always stuck to me as a representation of the other side of all of the horrors Etho's undergone over the course of Season 8, set during Destruction as Bdubs waits outside of the lab for what's supposed to be a relative simple diagnostic appointment, so he was told. As Bdubs, completely unaware than anything was even wrong with Etho until the start of the season, waits with baited breath to hear if his friend is okay, he's remind of their rough beginnings and how far he's come, both as a person and as Etho's friend. The tension that had come from a place of fear now comes from a desperate hope that Etho will be okay, and Ballad of the Walking Machines really well represents the juxtaposition between Bdubs' original fears of androids and his fear and hope in the present day that his dear friend will be okay.

After the 600 strikes, our Poseidon is really sad, poor thing. He's lucky to have his Brothers 💖 the gods' design are from Neal Illustrator , i only draw things. thanks to that user (Sorry i don't remember your Nick! 😭) to suggest me the "Dondon" silly name.
