What I’d give for one of the Cinderella remakes to go into how when you’re in an isolated and abusive situation, sometimes you need to be saved and you’re not weak if you can’t escape by yourself

I’ve never been a fan of bad faith reinterpretations of fairy tales, especially ones which flatten the originals into “princesses is saved by a prince and nothing else”, to then go #girlboss. The princess can save herself because she’s a strong female character! (Implying if you’re in a bad situation, it’s because you’re not strong enough to get out)

I love the bear but it's so weird for me as someone from Chicago because it's like- I know that place! I've been there! My friend lives there! I know that there are more things set in Chicago but not too many, and they don't usually focus on the setting at all in like.. a cultural sense? If that makes any sense? Anyways is this what people from NYC feel like?

Damn I knew Angelica took a hard shift into tradcath content but to delete this many of her old videos is INSANE. Literally all of the ones I would regularly watch from her are just gone, my playlist of her videos went from like 15 to 3 😭
