Inside, they were lying on a thin mattress, two defeated bodies suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. They woke up every day to the sound of chronic pain and dreams. That relaxes with every breath.

Hello, my name is Ahmad Al-Louh, and I am from Gaza. Before the war, I worked as a lawyer, dedicating my life to helping others, seeking justice, and defending the oppressed. Today, I am no longer the lawyer who protects others;

I am a father desperately trying to protect his children from the horrors of war.

My two little ones, Orhan and Helana, go to sleep every night to the sounds of bombs and missiles. All I wish for is to give them one more day of life. Just five dollars could be the difference between life and death for my small family. My parents, my siblings, my wife, and my children all depend on me, and all I ask is for you to stand by me in this nightmare we are living.

Living circumstances are getting harder and harder, and this makes our daily life tragic and disastrous. Getting the basic needs has become our biggest challenges, leaving behind our dreams and aspiration. Our daily sufferings have become too great for us to bear. ,😥😥😥

My sister, who suffers from Crohn’s disease, saw her condition worsen terribly after losing her son and sister. With the lack of treatment, every passing moment felt like a new nightmare. Our simple dreams of living in safety were shattered, and diseases and famine consumed us just as war had. Yet, despite the collapse that tore through our lives, we clung to a fragile hope that illuminated the darkness of our weary hearts, as if we were fighting death with broken souls.💔🥹
