Davy is more of an older brother/mentor figure to Quentin. They bully and sass eachother relentlessly in a playful manner all the time and they work better as friends. Plus, Quentin, has his sights set on someone else at the moment. He's also 99% sure David likes Frank. But you didn't hear that from him.

David helped to pull Quentin out of his own head when he first joined the realm, and taught the insomniac to use his own pent up anger and aggression in a... semi healthy manner. It's as Quentin says, 'David taught him to fight'. Meg hates them for this, but every now and then, they do go out to fight eachother and spar in the woods if one of them is bottling or stressed. They've bonded heavily over their anger issues and David taught him to use his attitude to stand on his own and take no shit. Quentin undoubtedly trusts him.

Without a doubt. Quentin patches him up and leaves medkits around as a way of showing he cares. When in trials together, he will help run killer and take any aggro off of his friend if he needs help. In his eyes, it's the least he can do.

Quentin's incredibly comfortable around David. He's dealt with the worst of his negative and ugly outbursts and vice versa. He can nap around the brawler, no problem, and he can unleash his snark without fear of coming off as rude or harsh.
