Boatem crew but with wings :)
Not my favourite art but I like the concepts so here we are. Impulse and Mumbo both have dragon wings, Grian and Pearl have bird, and Scar has fae/vex wings.
I am fully convinced Bdubs swallowed an entire flashlight.
im half convinced that bdubs swallowed an entire flashlight and thats the only reason why his eyes are glowing
Just finished watching hermit raiders and it was really fun! I love these friendly competitions. I was rooting for Cub's team but honestly they all did amazing. Also Scars Disney talk during the breaks was impeccable.
The new Xisuma lore gave me Zedeath brainrot anyway here he is.
Well I just went down the rabbit hole of customising my blog. Who knew that learning html in IT would actually come in handy.
Though really I just used a free one and changed the css to match what I want, it definitely looks cooler than the default.
That moment when one of your favourite songs turns out to be about Megaman.
It’s still amazing, actually its almost better because of it. The idea that I didn’t connect the dots sooner though is hilarious.
For reference the song is The Hounds by The Protomen. Highly reccomend both because its a banger tune and is also about Dr Wily.
Happy Boxing Day, Hermitblr! In the spirit of the season: square up. I want to know which Hermits you think you could take in a fight and why - for science, of course. Good luck, fair winds, and may the gifts of holiday cheer and unspeakable violence be with you all! >:]

Reference sheet for Y. Just wanted to get the basics of xyr race and some different perspectives. Xe are also just fun to draw.
Some over explaining under the cut because I cannot shut up about these guys.
Since Y is based of insects, mostly ants, I kind of made xem segmented. One of the things about Xyr race is that the queen has something similar to telepathy, and when Y was part of the colony xe didn't have a lot of free will, instead relying on the queen to tell xem exactly what to do. So when xe break free from that and leave the home world, xe have a lot of issues figuring out how to function again.
The bottom left are just some examples of background characters or other people from Y’s world. Basically Y’s race has a lot of diversity between body shapes and how they style their hair etc, but they cant change their clothes or mark their skin since that's what marks them as from the queen. Y does this once xe leave the colony, since xe no longer have a connection to xyr queen, and cant be considered a member of the home planet anymore.
For Y’s race the only thing they can think of under the queens control is the queen and their assigned work, their whole life is dedicated to the survival of the colony. When Y eventually goes missing, the remaining people have their memory wiped so Y never existed in the first place, rather than lose productivity by grieving.
Woah wait thats really cool. I love the Impulse idea. I usually associate Zed with the void because of the bumless pit and purple but thats a good point. That's such good lore for sheep Zed.
The end and the void are cool concepts. I love eldritch and cosmic horror and something about the idea of an endless suffocating space that's been alive for longer than the world itself and is sentient makes me really happy. Especially when I think about Zed casually making friends with it.
Everyday I am forced to choose between Void Zed and Sheep Zed.
Like, Void Zed has cool lore and the purple colour scheme. So much story telling potential and implications with the Boatem hole.
Sheep Zed though? People draw him so well and with the new season cozy Zed in the snow? I'm also a sucker for horned characters.
I cannot decide
What about Void!Zedaph AND SheepHybrid!Zedaph?
After emerging from the Void, the entity that is named "Zedaph" encounters one of the native species of this strange new world. It is unlike anything that he had ever seen before, with light colours, a softness when he accidentally bumped into it, and an alien tendency to occasionally look directly into his eyes. He is immediately captivated by its form.
Many moons later, even after meeting the Player - the intelligent lifeform that rules over this dimension - Zedaph is reluctant to fully let go of his first friend, the first face he had ever seen in this strange land.
I present Void Zed heading to the overworld for the first time and immediately basing his mortal form off the first animal he sees.
I love thinking about void lore. I haven't been able to draw for a few days and this really inspired me to start again so thank you :)
The layout wasn't very clear so I numbered the panels incase its confusing. Also the text at the end says:
Meanwhile. . .
Impulse: What just happened?
Tango: IDK but it was cool!
