Belos/Philip didn't have a 400 year vendetta against witches because Lilith broke his nose (which she did with her fist and not with magic at all). He's a Puritan colonist whose community had a deeply held fear and hatred of witchcraft, devilry, and demons, things that define the Boiling Isles down to its very roots. At the same time, the magic clearly intrigued him, so much so that he let it consume him. More appropriately, he may blame wild magic for his affliction because it tempted him, and not that he brought it upon himself.

I have a feeling that he has some grand sense of duty to destroy the Boiling Isles and purge the world of its evil, warped even further by whatever is corrupting his body and mind.

Nice idea!! Instead of Lucie I thought it would be funny to have Cordelia Anna and Matthew together, they look popular, they like parties and all I want is to go to the same party as them hahah 

There are many things I like and dislike about this drawing. Maybe because I was trying some new brushes it looks a little messy but I’m definitely improving!
