telling my kids this was the dead poets society

when the snow is melted and gone

when the roads are clear and brown

spring shyly comes around

to send away all the sadness and frowns

daffodils bloom and enlarge

the green nature take the charge

kids are playing with their wands

they smile widely and bond

saying they love the smell of cookies and jam

and their mothers’ cookings with all the spices and gram.
