Never a disappointment and putting always so much effort into every detail: while reading this first part I could sense the nervousness and embarrassment yn was feeling, because Hads is just that good. Finally.

You have finally finished getting ready for wherever Eunji was taking you. 

Frankly speaking, she had no idea herself. All she was told was that the two of you had to dress competently for a function.

Or as her friend Jimin put it, “Sexy enough so someone wants to take you home.” 

You watch your best friend finish off her already striking makeup with a bold red lip. Eunji has always been more of a fashionista than you, making sure that all the attention in the room is on her and preferably nobody else. It was her who had compelled you to primp up, and so here you were, looking the best you probably have in a while.

She let you borrow one of her dresses, an off-white midi dress adorned with lace upon silk, cosy to your body, its touch both light and soothing. You clipped your layered fringe back with a soft, pink bow and opted for a simple makeup look. 

Getting ready for an event is not your favourite sport, so having Eunji by your side is something you thank the heavens for repeatedly every time an occasion like this rises.

You now sit on your bed, tediously playing with your plushie whilst waiting for Eunji to finish. You sigh out loudly, making her turn to look at you, wondering what could possibly be bothering you now.

“Eunji…” You trail off, waiting for a response before continuing. A slight hum indicates that she’s listening and so you continue, “are you sure this is a smart idea? I mean he just told you that he’s in love with you and you’ve planned all this?”, feeling nervous as you heat up, wiping your sweaty palms on the pillow you have placed in your lap.

↠ TEASER:

“Did you really just sleep with him?” Eunji spits out at you with eyes full of anger and deceit.

“She didn’t sleep with me! I would never even think of doing something like that.” Taehyung strongly defends himself whilst unwittingly shifting further away from you.

Your eyes follow his movements, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

“Please, as if I’d be one to believe that.” Eunji scoffs as she paces back and forth in your bedroom, the feeling of stress overwhelming her completely.

“I’m literally in love with you, exactly why would I sleep with her?” Taehyung explains almost repulsively as he watches Eunji with careful eyes, evidently analysing her next possible response.

There was too much going on for you to even consider what thoughts you had brewing in your mind.

“You two have been spending an awful amount of time together, I wouldn’t be surpri-'' Eunji begins to snap back before she is interrupted by Taehyung once again.

“That doesn’t mean anything! She’s nothing compared to you! I love you!” Taehyung bellows out without any thought.

You feel your body go limp and your throat begins to tighten, tears threatening to spill.

Eunji’s face mirrors yours, pale with concern and hurting. Her expression softens as she stills in shock from Taehyung’s bluntness.

It takes Taehyung a moment to understand the tension he has now created. His stomach drops instantaneously as he slowly turns to look at you with guilt.

“Y/N I-” he utters quietly whilst moving forward, reaching for your arm. He fails to take hold of your crying self as you rush towards your bedroom door.

“Please, just leave.” Is all that you manage to muster out of yourself, before slamming the wooden door behind you.

Taehyung jumps at the sound of the damning slam as he falls back onto your bed, his pent up emotions finally escaping him. He bitterly regrets not having control over the harsh diction he had so casually spat out.

Taehyung lets his tears fall, cursing at himself for the seemingly irreparable damage he was now responsible for.

Starting off by apologising for my bad English ugh I’m really trying my best to put my heart into this but in my head all of this sounded way much better and I got to express like... one fifth of all that I wanted to.

Binged this masterpiece of a trilogy in the last two days, and I can’t believe on what I’ve been missing out so far.

This serie is so well written and it never gets boring; the chapters aren’t repetitive and each one of them has made me feel so many emotions.

The relationships between each character has helped me rethink my idea of friendship, love, pain.... the way they struggle with their own feelings is so intense and deep.

Taehyung? Oh God where do I even start? I just wanna slap some common sense into that hazy head of his and then engulf him in the warmest hug and stay like that as long as possible, whispering comforting and caring words into his ears.

Jk is so cute (although he’d never want me to call him that) and you can definitely say he’s head over heels for Y/N; in the smut scenes he gets so drunk in her he almost loses his mind.

Gotta admit that I got scared sometimes by the way he acted towards her (ex. locking her in the hotel room or yelling at her during their arguments) but I honestly think that this is what having difficulties in coping with your feeling might unwillingly lead you to.

I have loved seeing his character grow and get better so much during the last chapters.

Yn is surrounded by amazing people who love her and are so wise, ugh I wish I had friends as supportive as hers! Friends who tell you the truth because they genuinely care for you; friends who don’t tell you what you wanna be told.

To top this incredible rollercoaster of emotions, the smut scenes are top tier my god so good *chef kiss*

I want to comment on so many parts of this serie, but I don’t wanna be giving out spoilers to those who may have not read it yet.

Lastly, kudos to this incredible writer, you really are something else.

You have so much knowledge of what you write it’s incredible.

I have learned so many new things and words by reading this and I wanna thank you so much for opening my eyes to new experiences and perspectives.

I have grown so attached to this serie it almost makes me cry; definitely gonna read it again in the near future.
